I've looked at the goody bags with Giffgaff and how much me and DS1 have used over the last 12 months minutes/ text/ bandwidth wise and I can actually bring the spend between us down to 15pm so that's what I will do. my mobile will last for another couple of years I barely use it but DS1 will need a replacement handset so he can help with the cost of that when the time comes.
my landlord is starting steps towards eviction from Friday onwards which means my court hearing will be towards the end of the month when I get paid and make a big dent in the amount outstanding. I chased housing benefit yesterday and they still need some more info so that is being posted off today... I just need to know that the roof over mine and my kids heads is secure cos the worry of it all is making me ill now.
on the flip side this is the last time we will live like this - I'm making a success of the employed job, hitting and beating sales targets and money will sort itself out by the end of this month... and for a change that isn't reliant on things maybe happening - the only thing that will stop that happening is me stopping work and that just isn't going to happen0 -
things are finally looking up in my world

- DS1 has a job - and the first thing he did (well second after going out with his mates to celebrate that is) was say to me 'we need to agree how much I will be paying you for my keep' - he's growing up bless him!
- I've made 450£ commission in the last week and want to keep the momentum going - want to make it 600 extra in this pay packet.
- I have the weekend to myself again so am planning on clearing all the paperwork and getting straight with stuff so I know where I'm at.
- eviction and court proceedings have been staved off for the time being I have an agreement in place which has been accepted and will be kept to. council tax is in process of being sorted as is BT, all I have left to do now is water and internet both of which I can do online. Then its just reset up the SO for the companies on my DMP and I'm back in business

- we have food in the freezers/ cupboards and I've managed on the grand total of 76£ to feed 3 adults this week which I think is ok - I'm sure others could do it for less but I'm happy with that.
- Oh and after this weekend I only have 16 days left to a proper payday - happy days!!

well I've had a great month commission wise and just waiting for it to be signed off tomorrow ... not going to tempt fate by working out how much it is net of tax till its actually signed off and im sure its going to hit my bank account... I guess I err on the side of caution naturally now as I am so used to things going t*ts up

DS1 has his start date which is 1st of next month (which feels like an omen) - he's excited about having money in his pocket but not about the prospect of actual work... oh well he's only got another 50 odd years of it to look forward to
may as well get used to the idea!
DS2 still waiting on hearing about voluntary work that he wanted to do...
11 days till a proper pay cheque hits my bank account (not that I'm counting it down excited by the prospect you understand!!)

well I had 850£ signed off in commission which I make it adds an extra 600£ net to my pay packet which is simply fantabulous darlings!!
also had news of HB/ CT Benefit this morning in the post and I've been awarded about 50% what is owed paid in benefits so my arrears for rent now stand at 250 and council tax another 60 and a few coppers so number one priority is kiss goodbye to both of them
finally seeing some headway:)
the balance of my commission is going to be used on spends this month - need to replace some stuff around the flat that we have been managing with for so long that it now is in dire need of being done - taps replaced in the kitchen that don't leak and I can turn off without using a pair of pliers, shower curtain that is beyond redemption and other such boring stuff ... oh the glamour of my life
that should equate to probably about 50 or so - the rest is going to be squirrelled away to start building up a buffer zone.
im already on £150 commission for next month (weird cut off dates that don't tally with the actual month) so want to hit 600 pm which will make 450 after tax is taken off it - I think that's do-able without killing myself at the job. and from there really not sure what to do with it ... pay off another F&F on one of the smaller balances or continue to build up a buffer zone and then tackle one of the biggest balances - decisions uh?
3 best decisions ive made in the last 18 months - start a dmp and give up robbing peter to pay paul, kicked ex and his family/ leaches into touch and given up the rollercoaster of self employment for a steady wage of an employed job. just a shame it took me that long to see the light but I know what I'm doing now. I can and will be clear of this yoke of debt in 48 months if I pay full settlement on all the debts and a lot sooner if I push for some decent F&F. so I know which option I prefer

finally pay day tomorrow with a nice fat juicy amount due to hit my account tomorrow morning - I think I am going to spend most of tomorrow paying companies and getting myself straight. I cant believe the mess I ended up in - never ever again!
next stop is ticking along nicely with new budget then negotiating another F&F - I think that's probably another 2 months away. I want to clear Wonga and aqua in their entirety this year - that's the target I have set myself

and almost the end of pay day and my bank account is seriously depleted but I'm back up to date with all ongoing bills which I am seriously chuffed about (how sad is that?)
got 400 left out of the bumper pay cheque after all the bank fees and extras are added on - so buffer zone not as big as I had hoped but at least theres some in there (makes a change). on commission of £200 for next month so far now - it feels like its stopped tbh but just keep doing what I'm doing...0 -
That's brilliant, a small buffer each month will soon add upSealed pot challenge 822
