so on my ownsome again for the weekend - DS1 is working down in London for an extended weekend of wrestling shows, 5 in 3 days so he's going to be sore when he gets back :) DS2 is on a residential course to try and get on some volunteering work that he wants to do - no movement on a paying job so the plan is do some volunteering work for 6 months to have something concrete to add to his CV then try again - fingers crossed for him :)

I'm glad January is over, too much month for time between pay cheques so we've been living on fresh air (probably us and half the country). Anyway things should free up a bit from here on in (she says hopefully..)

Barclaycard finally defaulted me today so that's a full house - wont make any difference to the amount they are getting just means all my dates of defaults dropping off have moved just that bit further forward..

had a conversation with work as I'm hitting target regularly - there's a vacancy at another branch of the company that is my ideal job - new business, my kind of sell and better basic/ commission structure. I've been asked if I am interested in going for it and if so interview is Friday...

Basic is more than I am on, commission is mega better (if you know what I mean), so all good there. only downside is distance to travel 30 miles each way each day as opposed to 11 miles x 2 pd as im doing currently so basically my travel costs triple and time it takes me the same... not yet made my mind up if I'm going for it or not - got to give them an answer by COB tomorrow @ work. going to sleep on it and see how I feel tomorrow

well interview wasn't a resounding success plus the place to get to is an absolute nightmare so if I don't get it I wont be upset - even though Ive already allocated the extra ££ :) there I go just wishing my life away again.

roll on pay day cos commission hits my pay cheque a month in arrears and I want to see what a difference it makes. ive pumped the figures thru a salary calculator thingy and yes I know how much I should be getting but it doesn't feel real till I get it in my account..

I find out on Monday so not long to wait ... I've decided I don't want it tbh the travel is an absolute nightmare and I've had flexi start time been offered from where I am currently so I can 'beat the traffic' and start at 8am every day - so all good in my world :)

commission for the first month of hitting it is making just about 400£ difference - for what I'm paid next month (what I sell this month) already stands at that with just a week gone ... I'm flying at the moment and have got serious 'gift of the gab' so long may it continue. I'm working on £400 PM - not adding the figures into my dmp payments but making mine and my kids lives a bit more comfy and building up a 'settlement fund' so I can try and do some more F&F - Wonga is next on my hit list but don't know how successful I will be...

Happy with my life and the way things are going :D

unexpected bill for £500 for car which is a blow ... head gasket needs skimming (whatever the hell that means)... all I know is its making a funny noise (my technical explanation to mr mechanic man at the garage)... anyways commission is gobbled up :D but at least it shows in my account for a day or so

only other expense I've got coming up is car tax at end of March but money is set aside for that to pay in cash. quite a turnaround paying with real money instead of bunging it on the cards like I used to.

    going OK :)
