ok these are the plans moving forward money wise and bill wise:- (payments from LCC agreed with partner and SO set up to cover the costs)

    Salary for me 1250
    Benefits 200
    income from LCC 600

    total income 2050

    rent 420
    Council tax 90
    water 35
electric 0 (paid by sons in lieu or rent/ board and keep)
    car insurance 50
    petrol 60
    mobiles 0 (paid by LCC)
    internet 0 (paid by LCC)
    housekeeping 400
    tv license 13

    Total outgoings 1068

I think it makes sense for me to factor in some of my budget for incidental spends on me (been so long since I have had this that I need some 'me money' for my sanity. Also need to put some money aside each month into emergency pot so say 250 total to clear both of them - 100/150 split.

I make it that leaves around 700 pm to throw at debts. now that will make an impact on the balances!:j - infact it gives me a dfd 33 months from now

I hope it all works out and will offer some encouragement.

I was declared BR 6 years ago and remember thinking at the time that 6 years was a loonnnggg time before it come off my credit file and it has caused me difficulties(missed out on jobs requiring credit checks, having to find rent guarantors when I had to move, etc).

All of that aside though, the 6 years has in fact flown past because although things were tight it really is a lot easier when you can see the light at the end of the tunnel... No matter how far away it is and 33 months will hopefully go quickly for you!

Tbh I don't think 33 months is that long in the great scheme of things - its taken me about that time to get into this financial mess so it makes sense that its going to take the time to solve it. Of course once the ball starts rolling I plan to do my damndest to actually bring that date forward by doing bits n pieces extra but if I cant then at least I will be debt free before I'm 50.

plans for the weekend - nothing tbh, get organised for work on Monday :) and don't need to spend anything.

    well good and bad news...

good news is I checked noddle report and can finally see with my own eyes that all interest on all debts is finally frozen and my amounts outstanding are going down (albeit tortuously slowly) so I'm glad they have finally done what they said they would do.

bad news is ex and business partner went off on one yesterday, one of the contracts using main software have slowed down production rates over the last 2 days so he now wants all the money left in the company (non negotiable from my part as payment to me already been made and is earmarked to be paid out on different things next week). No way chum - time for me to start recouping my losses thus far.

first day at work tomorrow - Yay!!:j:j

    great first day :D

I'm back in the world of work again and I think I want to stay this time - no more jumping ship that self employment/ contract work is more flexible/ pays more/ gives me control over my life

I need stability infact I now crave stability.

and nope the cheeky git isn't getting a penny of it - time to start putting my world into some sort of order and looking after me and mine :)

on my own in the office this morning so catching up on emails and on here and other stuff... still working as well as I've had lots of practise of multi tasking so I wont get caught :)

letter came thru this am from Capital One confirming the partial settlement terms - all in order so will be making the payment tonight via online banking then that's one bill totally wiped out - hurrah! only another 8 to go :) next on my hit list is second capital one - by the same reckoning of what they accepted on the first card Im going to try and get them to agree to 750 tops. ill start lower and work up to that. think it makes sense for me to hit the co's I owe in order of balance so it feels like I'm getting somewhere and the amount I pay to the bigger balances will be increasing anyway.

ok gonna get my head down and do some work.

and I could get used to these early finishes on Friday at the new job so all good :), moms taxi service in operation for much of the weekend so going to be heavy on the petrol but other than that no spend planned or needed. DS1 is going away again for a weeks work (wrestling matches) this time to London and SE, he's also got a try out for a tour of Germany next year (April - July) so he's buzzing. DS2 is totally negged out at having to sign on - his apprenticeship didn't keep him on for the second year and hes been applying for jobs but not even getting a response - time to start building him up a bit me thinks :)

LCC this month has done 2000£ from the main software plus another 800£ for the mini version. 300£ running costs, salary for ex of 1050, payout to me of 600 and theres 850 left over - 166 of that will pay for PPC advertising to promote it solidly for the next 3 months and 700 tucked away as a start of a cushion.

slowly slowly ever so slowly all of this is starting to come together :D

so whats new in my debt busting world??

second sale at work and second lot of commission - 130£ in 2 weeks of doing the job so guestimating an extra 200£ pm which isn't an earth shattering amount but it will come in handy - veering between living a bit and spending it or putting it without thinking against paying of next card on my hit list which is second Cap1 card. working on what I was offered for settlement figure on card one with them I should be able to get them to agree to between 500 and 600 so 2 months or xmas latest it will be gone. the negotiations start in earnest tonight when I get home from work.

LCC has picked up another 2 small contracts for larger software both of which will be in operation next month, one h-u-g-e invite to tender came thru yesterday which would be fabulous darling if it came off but not banking on it - tbh we don't have enough experience to even think about winning contract work at the moment, we're still in a mega learning curve for that side of business.

going ok all told - just keep plodding on :D
