well trial run for business on upped resources/ servers last night and it coped admirably - co.'s using the system put us thru our paces and upped capacity by 100% and we slowed down a little but not to a stage that we need worry. we are now open for business and anything that may come our way - bring it on!
DS1 and 2 both out for their gig and then a house party afterwards so they will get home tomorrow pm in time for a shower/ sleep then their Sunday dinnerI feel like im running a B&B but in the nicest way, I want them to enjoy being young - time enough in life to be tied down with bills and responsibilities.

start next week and cant wait - security here I come!
other good news is business with ex did £100 of profit in 2 hours last night making the running total for this month so far of £600. at this rate we should finish on 1400 for the full month which is a move in the right direction.
bring it on:D0 -
Been following this thread for a while and have to say that you should be very proud.
You're clearly in a tough situation financially, as a result of people who should know better taking advantage of your good hearted nature.
Despite this, your determination to take matters in hand really is inspiring and I wish you all the best as it really does show the rest of us what to aim for!0 -
so what's new in my debt busting world?
co with ex (or LCC as I'm going to call it from now onwards as I cant be bothered typing out co with ex all the time) got a sale this morning of our smaller software to a German car manufacturer so recurring billing of 800£ monthly there coming in :j. just a phone call to confirm how they install it and money already clearing into company bank account. sales on main part of the company were $700 yesterday making 85£ for the night. all going ok there ...
looking forward to starting work next week - working from an office about 30 mins travelling time from home so I'm rejoining the world again rather than stuck in my living room with just the cat for company. should get my hair cut so I look smart enough for office but it will have to wait till first pay day - not that im looking ahead lol
Only other spend for the week will be grocery shop to fill everything up - the cupboard/ freezer/ fridge was bare is the situation at the moment.
in all feeling positive about it all0 -
Considering that the LCC is trundling along as planned and ex is taking his min wage from it; is there any reason why this unforeseen regular £800 per month can't be winging its way into your current a/c to start repaying the loan you made to the business?
You've got to start putting yourself higher on that list of priorities, your circumstances have changed and you need to be reclaiming your investment. I fear that this ongoing debt situation has become the norm for you and although you hate it, you're resigned to its existence. Set up a s/o before you find something or someone else more deserving (although I can tell you now, they won't be) x0 -
75% of the new contact sale value is being set aside to be paid to me - I've already set up a transfer from the business account so it should show in big bold figures in my account in a few hours maximum. next stop is to contact my smallest creditor and try and do a F&F to pay one person off completely - in the grand scheme of things its a drop in the ocean to what I actually owe but it will give me a boost to see one creditor completely gone.0

Catandy read through your thread today and what a roller coaster ride! dont know how you have been coping through it all but you are not alone in running up debts to provide for others, a lot of folk on here are the same........
I hope you manage to find time for a hobby of some description if the heat is off the finances good luck
