no big news is he planned to pay me and has set up a repayment plan to get me paid off all that I ploughed into the company - going to take 2 years to pay me off in total and in return I do the admin for the company (which saves him paying someone to do it) and makes sure I can see what is going on with the money and that im not being short changed. im going to accept it for as long as it lasts - and not count on the money but put it aside so I can do some f&f on some of the bigger balances. Im actually speechless that he's done the right thing and can finally start to see a way to make some headway into these figures - just hope it doesn't all go tits up now and it all ends before it starts

In return ?? Jeez, Yer ex is a chancer, he owes you the money, and wants free secretarial support while he might pay it back ! Brave boy, Send him over here , Ill sort him out for ya ! lol

might take you up on the offer - and yes he pushes it but im just weak to allow him to do it, cant remember when I turned into such a doormat....

anyway onwards - aqua statement thru and interest still being added - totally giving up on this as they send a letter saying one thing then do the absolute opposite. they took off 153 in interest and fees to date then added another 73 in interest for this month :mad:

All I can think of doing is just selling the last few things I can on fleabay and paying it off as quickly as I can - at the rate they keep adding the charges on (dropped it from 41% apr to 40% apr that was good of them!) for every 100 I can pay off each month its saving me 3£ in interest... what a total mess! so every penny I get from ex is going on this plus any extra I make from taking on extra contracts plus everything else - got to beat this cos im drowning with this one and got no chance of getting straight whilst its going on.

No I've made the decision to make a complaint to FOS - letters back and forth to Aqua are doing absolutely no good at all I'm just marking time with them so perhaps FOS will be able to bring some sort of logic to proceedings....

all bills paid for the month so that's going ok, money left in my bank account (which is always a bonus), just a small top up shop needed this week so perhaps 20£ to last us all week... in all order is being restored to the chaos as was.

Just been throwing figures around again - thanks to all the hours I've been working I've got a bumper payout next month (my pay outs are a month in arrears) plus all the catch up on bills has caught up so I want to make major inroads next month.

    income employed 1008
    income self employed 2400
    income from coaching 688

    Grand Total 4096

    All living expenses/ bills 1609

    balance 2407

So plan for that money next month is

clear Aqua card - ok I know I'm favouring one creditor over others but they aren't hammering interest on faster than im paying it off. I'm going to try and do a F&F with them but I doubt they will knock any off for settlement so accounting for the whole amount paid off leaves me with about 800£ clear. so with that Im going to celebrate DS1 18th and treat myself - nothing fancy you know perhaps a pair of shoes rather than wearing ones with holes in like I am currently:o

I can finally start to see the end to all of this which I'm really grateful for - but I'm not sure how long I want to keep working at the rate I am doing!!

and all the great laid plans go t*ts up...

had a payment taken from my account for 300 and a few pence that ive got no idea about - foned bank to be told you are not registered for phone banking so need to do so - couldn't be bothered with it cos im just so damn angry that this keeps going wrong - so im going into the branch at lunch time to find out what the hell the payment is for and why im OD yet again on a basic bank account ???

still chasing payment from one of the companies that I worked for last month - that's 480 that should have been paid a week ago, that and the 300 means I should have money in my account and not a - figure.:mad: I really thought these days were over and I was getting a grip on things.

I've just had the offer of some more work - working evenings and weekends and I really don't know what to do

would mean I'm working day time hours doubling up on 2 jobs (one employed one self employed) then finish at 5.30 each weekday and start again at 8pm thru to midnight plus 8 hours on a sunday (daytime hours). would make minimum of 600£ extra income per month - the money would be welcome but not sure if I could cope with all the hours... or maybe just try it I mean I'm only sitting on my !!! in front of a PC and speaking to people its not like I do a hard days work or anything.

DS2 and GF plus houseguest really don't notice what I'm doing or if I'm around so long as there's food in the fridge - DS1 is away for the next 9 weeks and sounds like he's having a ball so I really don't have an excuse not to take it on. Ok decision made - that's a yes then :)

and got a default notice thru this am from Halifax on my loan which is good cos its been handed over to a DCA (no chance of charges being added on now then) - just want the same to happen with my OD with them as well.

and got the 300£ put back in my account - was a refund on car insurance - I changed my policy and they took full payment x2 so got it back no problems :) things are looking up.

Hi catandy, enforced day on the sofa so catching up on diaries, your life is such a roller coaster ! Glad you got the insurance refunded so fast, they did the same to me last year and took weeks to give it back !
Yeahhhh to the default, that should make life a wee bit easier if they stop adding charges !

so I've just started the complaints procedure against Aqua credit card who are a total nightmare - I veer between wanting to pay them off in their entirety to saying stuff it they should be the same as everyone else and take their fair share like everyone and if they weren't adding interest on at such a ridiculous rate I wouldn't even be thinking of favouring them over other creditors and getting them paid off. I know it can take up to 6 months and I know that there's no guarantees that it will be found in my favour but I really don't see what else I can do with all of this.

Im also sure that I don't want to carry on working at the rate I am doing at the moment - I'm doing the equivalent of 95.5 hours work a week at the moment and I'm totally frazzled with it all, I'm starting to forget which business head I'm supposed to have on and then starting to make mistakes which is not good. I'm also going out this weekend to buy a bed - ive been sleeping on a chair bed thing for some of the time since ex left taking the bed with him, bed settee for some more of it and then finished up with a blow up mattress on the floor - cant wait to sleep in a comfy bed again :D:j

apart from that life just carries on - got nothing special planned for the weekend, cant afford the petrol to go and see my mum and she cant bear the hot weather anyway so will have to miss her this weekend. DS2 and GF out at a house party and sleepover tonight so its me, house guest and the cat. wonder what trouble we can get into....

offer of 305 from aqua for ppi that was missold so that comes off the balance any time in the next 28 days, I worked it out to be almost double that amount due but im going to thank my lucky stars I got something and its going to make a dent in what I owe them. also means I can go to the FOS with a clear conscience cos they will have paid me by then and they can hardly take it back again can they :)

still waiting on other 2 claims so they should be thru soon.

apart from that everything ticking along swimmingly :D
