just got a cheque for payout from a survey company so thats £50 I wasnt expecting. I'm going to pay it off my only interest bearing debt which is aqua plus I'm going to do a sweep of all the money ive saved by walking across monthly as well to bring that one down. will only make an extra £60 coming off the total monthly but even that will save me £2 odd in interest each month which can only be a good thing. I refuse to pay these blood suckers a penny more than I have to now and want to get shot of all debt asap and never will touch it again in all my born days.

DS1 got offered a contract yesterday with a wrestling company so it looks like I may be losing my oldest :( - Im happy for him and scared that hes not big enough to go and live away at the same time plus proud that these people obviously think hes good at what he does as well - dont know real mix of emotions really. He goes away anyway on a tour around europe in just over 5 weeks and I had prepared myself for that and was looking forward to his time away as time I could use to decorate and get his bedroom blitzed and look forward to reduced grocery bills :) now it feels like I'm losing my baby forever. When he gets back he's now going to be travelling the holiday camps of the country until after xmas but it means he will have been away all told for 6 months between the 2 things he's doing. I'm losing my status as Mom cos he's growing up so fast. I'm just glad I've got DS2 cos he shows no signs of going anywhere :) going to hold onto him tight!

my head is on right today for work and to earn some commission - its time for me to put my life back together and that takes ££ so best persuasive head on :D

totally tired out - probably a result of all the walking to and from work plus the emotional rollercoaster ending - im a bit weepy actually I think its just a reaction that I dont have to fight anymore. I'm ok and I'm a whole lot better off than I was even a week ago I just think I need to settle into my new routine and see some figures starting to move in the right direction :)

feel a whole lot better after a good nights sleep and up at a ridiculously early hour cos my mind is racing :) pity im not motivated to do more with my time that click around on t'internet and drink tea...

SO for first full months payments on my DMP have gone out so even the companies that have refused the amounts I have offered have accepted the payments made so that is all they are getting (cos there isnt any more to give for now). I'm going to update my signature later on today cos it will be nice to see the figures starting to slowly inch downwards.

apart from that nothing exciting going on - work today and tomorrow then nothing special planned for the weekend. just hope it stops raining at some stage :)

just been totting up my incidental spends from this month (ive been keeping a spreadsheet of every single penny ive spent and where its gone) and I can see the leaks are starting again. spent £75 this month on rubbish /incidentals - thats a drink whilst ive been out, sandwich bought from the shop instead of made on the days I ran out of time and so on. Its so easy for the amounts to start creeping up isnt it?

also food shopping has come in at 380 for the month which again seems high so im going to try and shave a bit off there as well. June is going to give me a chance to see what the proper figures are with just my family that I'm responsible for - no spend on feeding ex or putting petrol in his car so I can prevent myself waiting for the bus so the aim is to shave a fair bit off those figures so menu planning and thinking ahead is the name of the game for june. that and walk wherever I can, also going to cash up all the change in the 'penny jar' and use that at the supermarket. target for grocery spend next week is £50 maximum and menu planning all done.

i'm not feeling too secure in the new job - the job as it has panned out is not exactly how it was described at interview and a bit out of my skillset and comfort zone so I'm struggling with it. my boss is beginning to remind me daily that Ive still not sold anything which of course I already know and not helpful cos all it does is make me panic a bit more so it makes it harder. all I can do is my best, if thats not good enough then they get rid of me and I go and find another job again, I got this in 2 days and I can do the same again if needs be.

good weekend and mse all the way - day of blitzing the flat yesterday and today went to see my mom on the train today - booked it online on friday and got it for £4 it would cost me more than that in petrol so result there :)

things to do for this week

    • pay £100 off rent arrears tomorrow at the post office
    • sort out house insurance and cash back from quidco
    • sort out paypal account and bank account tied to it
    • fone about job offer that came thru over the weekend to get some more details not sure im going to take it any further but i want to make a decision with all the facts
    • keep spreadsheets up to date with every single penny spent - this proved to be a real eye opener last month...
    • blitz the kitchen cupboard and get it binned/ put ready for car boot or charity shopped i want to start streamlining our life so have decided to start with the 'dumping ground'..
    • set up final SO for DMP its taken until yesterday for the payment details to come thru to me.
oh and normal stuff, work, cook, clean, live a bit :D may even do some self abuse and get myself out for a run if the weather stays nice this week :rotfl:
