I think it is lovely that your man cares enough about you, to take his life in his hands, and say he is worried about you and what you are doing to yourself. He would have been aware that he may well get his head bit off, but he did it anyway. It says alot about him as a person, BUT, it also means you REALLY should consider WHAT he said too.

Have you ever been checked out for Crohns disease?

Good to see you Chev x

It is true the poor man was taking his life in to his hands! and yes I will think about what he said and how I get ill so frequently.

Mum is off to Florida on Tuesday which is making me nervous and happy at the same time. I will miss her. She has been very tolerant of the mess post loft/Christmas holidays.

The guinea pigs are now in two cages, it may work better till I can get rid of the fish tank :( and build them a cage out of cubes and correx which should be big enough for all of them. I keep researching giving them up but I am still undecided.

It has been a hard day today it was a lot of work to sort out the cages and take the table up stairs. And move the bed. and all the other furniture.

Anyhow I have many many plans of all kinds whilst Mum is away and in that way I am looking forward to it. I am not looking forward to the empty house ness or no nice cup of tea when I get home and the conversations.

I have decided to join the Flylady thread! see below

  • The week rapidly turned in to the week from HELL.

Mum packing Monday night and leaving Tuesday, puppies ill - had the runs. And they run EVERYWHERE.

So yeah.......tues and weds spent cleaning up dog poo. Thursday was parents evening and less poo thank God.

They were quite perky by friday. *rolls eyes*

(They love the bf like REALLY love him)

Work was predictably grim although interestingly my boss was nice to me!

The house obviously was still a mess. the poor man had to put up with me cleaning the gps out on Saturday and having a general tidy up of the room.

He is so great tho. I am in way too deep but it is good. he does make me happy. He makes me laugh and feel so safe. Feel proper soppy.

I am so tired now. And hoping for a snow day!

You know when you just wonder. What might be possible?

    What you could do?

You know - all the hokey sayings about what would you do if you couldn't fail?

or that poem about who are you not to be you.

Anyhow, lately lots of surprising things have been happening. Not just the man, but little things.

And it is so interesting to have someone else look at your life. He really doesn't say anything much- he let me talk non stop about Mum, money living here - I didn't stop for ten minutes, he said really it didn't matter to him what I had said - he had no say in how I live but only that it was important that I said it and he listened. And gave me a hug. It did feel awkward at first. The talking I mean, but I got what he meant.

    Crazy plan one
    Save/make/steal the 20 grand.
buy a house, perhaps not round here. Not had much success with saving! but I think I have to look again at this. I do feel I have hung around this cross roads for long enough. The blow of not getting a mortgage in September has knocked me a great deal BUT it is not over till it is over.

    Crazy plan two
Rent a flat and give up the piggies or find away to have them at Mum's (plus do something with the fish, gerbils, puppies). Aside from the animals and maybe leaving Mum skint this is the quickest way forward. Would mean a normal life for me in the long term. However it would damage relations with my family - well maybe. I honestly don't want to know - it is a can of worms that I would like to leave shut.

both of these make it unlikely I could leave my job. Ideally I would like to change jobs (!!!) before I moved. Been looking for a year almost.

I don't really want any comments about these plans. Just thinking aloud really.

Wow I am tired. No snow day for me, head is a !!!!!!! so will drag us all in.

Rent. You will never have babies as long as you live with your mum. Sorry if that is blunt but there you go
