Ya it's great to have somebody supportive around, are you going to try and make some positive changes?

    1. hate clutter fed up with the state of the loft and shed. many piles or crap - tomorrow it will be 9 bags to the charity shop and 5 bags in the bin. plus more to come.............

    2. Shed/ loft need work doing

    3. really need to be more minimalist in my approach in the house, all such a waste of money...

4....................ooooooooooooooShabby Chic .......pretty...............oooooooooooo I could paint that and make that and sew that............oooo so pretty.

    6 empty plastic boxes.

Loft looks the same! and bedroom looks worse!

I am still hankering after Shabby Chic, essentially I have about 3 pieces of furniture which would benefit from a revamp - that would mean they would match.

I also already have a number of duvets sets, comforters, tins(!) and bits that would go well together.

I am pondering a challenge - re do the conservatory only allowing myself to buy paint :)

right now I need to get ready to the hell of tomorrow.

:( honestly was so anxious this morning nearly threw my breakfast up. not good.

    xx

I'd be flattered that this bloke obviously cares enough to want to talk to you about you being poorly. Relationships work on communication, he's worried and is telling you so...it's a good sign that he thinks a hell of a lot of you.

Well done on getting the loft sorted, I've collected suitcases from family members/freecycle and use those as loft storage. Fill it, label it, stack it. (with the lables on show).

Definately get your premium bonds sorted, you can check for unclaimed prizes online if you've got your holders number. I'm very much loving ours at the moment.

As for shabby-chic, it looks lovely in pictures but it's not "life proof", you've only got to have one "normal" thing out of place and its just shabby tatt. Everything needs to be hidden behind perfectly distressed doors and in gorgeous boxes (that are never the right size for anything). I gave up trying to be shabby chic when I realised that having a collection of fabric for making gorgeous quilts to fling on the back of sofas was actually threatening to take over the house. I've got a grip and I'm going to sell some quilts to make room (and buy more fabric...hehehe....no shush, don't tell E)
