If that's her nose right at the end then I don't think it's too big, but perhaps just the wrong shape/design for her. Might be worth trying the regular Baskerville ones on as they're a bit narrower

E.g. Baskerville Ultra, his nose is right at the end but still plenty of room to have his mouth open like here in the photo

Regular Baskerville, you can see it's a longer length (she could probably use a size down if she removed the nose guard, like I do for Casper) but despite that there's less space for him to open his mouth, the next size down would offer even less. It does still allow panting and drinking though.

If you're using the forehead strap too then it may be holding it higher up position-wise so making it look roomier too, have you tried it without that strap?

I will try it again when she is standing up rather than ;ying down but the strap below the muzzle, the one that is supopsed to be attached to the collar, is wrong on Zara, it kind of buldges on her neck, the whole shape of the muzzle looks wrong on her...

Looks a bit small to me. The strap thing by her nose will drive her mad, their noses are so sensitive.

I think it is too wide but not long enough - this is not a good shape of a muzzle for a GS...

Will have to look for another one but not buying anything without trying it on her first

I am very tempted to get her a Gappay muzzle, their products are excellent overall. My friend uses Gappay on her GS boy...

I really like their collars too.. excellent quality, and they have a "handle" with them

Definitely not long enough, the way the strap thing is right up against her nose. Is it made of rubber?

Maybe a more flexible one would be better? Poor Zara:(

And the muzzle went to dog we met on the walk, Indie - fitted her perfectly and that is good as Indie was trying to eat small dogs passing us.....

Zara was a modelk dog, absolutely no problem at all.....fantastic walk

Oh that's great! Such a weight off your mind when they behave so well, isn't it?
  • Oh yes, definitely - we are going to do that walk every Sunday now..

Zara is great with a group of dogs anyway but it is nice to walk like that.

BIt of a treck (1 hour) for me byt friend took us in her car so that was great.

Zara was the cleanest dog for most of the walk all other rolled in mud etc but she was a princess.. till she decided to have a lunch of horse poo.. and ruined the image hehehe :)
