Let us know how you get on!

    1) 2 terries , both on leads, yapping at Zara - she tottaly ignored them
    2) old girl GS with her mum (dog on lead), passing by - Zara wagging tail and gave the old GS a kiss... serious.. shock
    3) meet John by the coffee hut, loads of dogs around (Zara on a lead), some running around, some yapping like mad, Zara cool as cucumber, John got her an ice cream... she loves ice creams
    4) on the way back, 2 black labs running off lead minding their own business - she has gone psycho on them (from a distance of course - growling/barking/lunging the full works)

    Hmmmm

    sigh....

Booked at appointment with Zara at FR in Surrey where her op was done.

My girl is not walking well, her tail is in weird position (part of it she carries kind of horizontal in line with her spine and then the rest drops down, normally her whole tail is down) and I am REALLY worried now.

We are going to FR on Monday... :(
  • Have you had her anal glands checked? They often hold their tails at a odd angle when anal glands full and/ or infected.

Could she have slipped a disc?

    Thanks...

Anal glands were checked at the vets last week.

Slipped disc would be more painful I believe.

She acts normal, wants to go out.. when she "trots" nothing shows but when she walks this leg is terrible...

Nothing I can do till Saturday though, no point taking her to local vets, will have to wait for the FP visit and Xrays there :(

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Has her tail been injured as far as you know? Trapped in a door? Stood on? anything on the tail, like a tick, or one of those sticky burr things, or could she have a bite from anything if she's been in a scrap?

Could it be a spinal problem? Hope you can get some answers soon. I'm worrying about her too now.
