maman, the thing was a BRUTE, at that time of the morning it felt like a small child. the grossest of things though were those two piddly feeler bits (not the legs) near the front of its head. _pale_ could have cried!! :rotfl:
RFD im glad you were able to get information and support rather than that shoddy excuse of a place you were referred to!
hmmmm really starting to get hungry nowits all this thought of curry:rotfl:... on a side note, does anyone else ever get a burbly tum? not a hungry burble, but a funny burble.... mine acts up every so often but more so when im lying in bed about to sleep... and now actually lol
I had one of those in the Kitchen last night - when i asked hubby to get it he told me not to be silly - i got a pint glass, went near it and it flinched so told hubby to get rid of it or else!!! He went you use the pint glass & said 'I can understand why you wanted him out of the house' :rotfl:
He promptly dropped the beast on the floor  - chased it round the kitchen (i was on the worktop!:rotfl:) then put it outside - on top of the guinea pig hutch - i was not impressed!!!
I would have slept in the car if he had of lost it!!!
Not a very good week this week - graduated yesterday (all the hard work paid off with a 2:1!!!) but celebrated in style with an indian banquet Not SW friendly at all! Especially when vienetta and baileys was brought out on the house!
Trying to claw it back today as out again tomorrow night!

I will try to resist the 'normal' size twirl in my desk drawer!0 -
I've just had 2 fillings repaired... didn't eat this morning and now wishing I had. I suppose at least it will stop me from eating the curly wurlys or crisps for now.... mullerlights it is!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16

Its a friendly fun way to clean your house! We "fly" we don't clean :rotfl: Been a godsend to me
Phsycobabble - Am off to search for your recipes now, we love love love curries in our house, my DH loves the SW lamb Rogan Josh
RFD - So glad you got the help from Cruse, I am amazed your GP didn't even suggest that, the mind boggles.
Nessie - Well done on your graduation, don't beat yourself up over your celebratory meal
daniellenic87 - Welcome to the thread & good luck on your SW journey.
Forgot to put todays plan on
HI All
Hope you are all well, I didn’t have time to start the shred last night, went to my cousins for her BF’s birthday, she had cake & crisps & sweets etc, I had a cup of green Tea!
Made 2 more SW dishes to stockpile the freezer, trying to do 3-4 batches every week, used to do a cookathon once a month but just not got the time now. Did anyone try the lemon chicken with fried rice from last months mag? We had it a few weeks ago & it was gorgeous, neither me or DH had ever tried asparagus but it was tasty. I still have a portion of that in the freezer.
I ended up having two alpen lights last night as HEB as couldn’t be bothered with anything else!
Todays EE Menu

L – ½ tin salmon with tbsp tomato sauce 1 syn, large salad, melon
D – Slimming eats pasta Bolognese bake (HEA) with veg on the side

Nessie - Well done on your graduation, don't beat yourself up over your celebratory meal
I'm not beating myself up too much for that - thoroughly enjoyed it and resisted the nan bread
It was the rest of the day that didn't help - massive fried breakfast (but i did have the bubble n squeak (if you can call peas/carrots/mash that!)) 1pint of latte (the mug was mahoosive!) and slice carrot cake
It didn't help the night before going out - had mixed grill so not too bad!
Just been eating some choc - cos i am bored at work & have come un-prepared -
Need to get some SW friendly snacks for work - suggestions please? But not fruit or salad!
I have a 1 litre bottle of NAS squash at my desk which i am getting through - but boredom is setting in!!!
I will try to be good for rest of day - once i get home i should be ok - recently got a spinning wheel and need to finish some crafty bits for some swaps - so mind & fingers will be busy!0 -

I need some ideas too, but I've been taking in the batchelors pasta pot shot things which are either free, or up to 1.5 syns depending on flavour. bit like a pot noodle but nicer!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Hi everyone,
Hope you don't mind me joining in?
I've been doing Slimming World for a few weeks now, I have an online account but I'm not going to any classes.
I'm getting married in March 2013 and although I'd love to look good on the day, more than anything I want to start being healthy in preparation of hopefully starting a family soon after (I've also quit smoking and drinking over recommended allowance and started going to a gym).
I'm still not sure I've got my head around SW 100%.
I keep reading and re-reading everything as after so many diet attempts it just feels so weird to be able to still eat!
I know my main downfall will be by Hubby to be! I love him with all my heart but he's a big eater and although he's doing SW with me, I know if I muttered the words "take away" he'd be there in a heart beat.
I was a size 12 when we first met and am now an 18 from taking on his eating habits.
It'd be really nice to have some people to talk about SW too as I don't really feel comfortable talking about my weight with friends or family.Married 23/03/13 :heart2:

Your HTB sounds just like my hubby!
I lost 4st 2.5lbs for my wedding day in Aug 2010 (we don't talk about what has happened since (sig says it all!)) and felt amazing (albeit still not skinny!)
Just finished my degree and stopped contraception in prep for babies (also given up smoking!)- but my hubby just likes feeding me up! lol
We joke about him being a feeder - but i seriously think he is a bit - although he hates my belly (as do i!) It's the damned takeaways - he doesn't really like indian or chinese (you can choose good SW friendly food with them) so he ends up with kebab - either i fork out on nearly an extra £5 (to have it delivered) or i have kebab with him - but i don't do salad! So usually meat with lots of chilli sauce - but i would then have the chips & would have to eat the pitta
I don't think they understand!
Sorry i'm not really helping, ranting myself, but at least you know you have other people in the same boat0 -

I have tried one of those - but i normally go with mugshots as they are more environmentally friendlyand usually on offer!!!
They are a start - but not sure it is exactly picking food!0 -
Gemmiewho i could almost have written your introduction. Except i have been married 3 years now.
If your hubby to be is joining you on your slimming journey then theres no reason why he cant still have those big meals and still lose weight.
Groups suggest starting off on the Extra Easy plan as it is designed to be just that. You can eat unlimited amounts of pasta, rice, potatoes, pulses, grains. Unltd extra lean bacon, lamb, minced beef, beef, pork etc and eggs. Just balance every meal with 1/3rd of the superfree veggies/fruits and your set to go. Cooking anything and everything with frylight. Also remembering to use your Healthy extras and syns every day.
As many of the other followers suggest, post your daily meal plan on here for others to look over and we/they will give you pointers on what you need to add or adjust to ensure a balanced daily diet.
Any questions and you only have to holler.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j
