Yesterday I was diagnosed with gallstones, (thought I had them for a week or so now, family history of them, knew the symptons!) seems its a side effect of loosing a lot of weight, so gallbladder is for coming out, just not sure when

Gall stones are not nice. However they are often caused by diet. Low fat diets even. pasta and bread get converted to sugars which then cause gall stones (I will save you the full science) but basically sugar increases the production of cholesterol. Then of course there is the risk of diabetes withthese diets.

Yes and a few people even thanked me. Just goes to show people only see what they want to see. For the advice put up here about the dangers of the SW and WW diets I should be thanked by every single person but I can dream on.

I just took you off my ignore list for a moment as I was curious as to what you had to say in reply to macpep1 and I honestly have to say that as a thread for members of SW to support each other this really is not the place in which you should be considering it helpful to stick your oar in. If you do wish to share your opinion on the 'dangers of SW' then might I suggest you start a different thread in which to do so? Those who frequent this thread are obviously unlikely to pay much attention as has already been noted.

On a much more SW friendly note, I have weigh in in a few hours and I am expecting to see a slight gain. Sad really as I wanted to be below 12stones for my holiday in two weeks but the week really has been sabotage in itself and I'm proud of how I have coped with it on the whole! Prayers/good vibes/fingers crossed I may still see a small loss but que sara sara!

Well done to all the losers so far this week :T

This sounds really yummy... but i'm a bit wary of the egg/quark type mix after making a lasagne that ended up basically having a omlette on the top which was gross! Please tell me it doesn't end up like that so I can attempt it :D

Ugh no!!!!! :rotfl: I am paranoid of the pasta cooking the egg before going in the oven, so thats why i rinse the pasta in cold water. I think it helps to keep it all separate and not stick as much. Its really very tasty

RFD- really sorry to hear about what you're going through. The 7 stages of grief make a lot of sense, i had a time in my life where they came in very "handy" to help me understand my different emotions.

I was at the doctor with bad chest pains (here since October) and have been told its chostochondritis. I asked about it being chronic as i had researched it online (i have fibromyalgia so it pays to look up sometimes). Her solution was for me to change how i view the pain and do CBT online?!?!?!? Such a load of nonsense. Doctors really can be useless (although my own favourite doctor is fantastic, really brilliant)

    Anyway, tangent...!

SW - lost 1.5 at weigh in after a heavy week last week and am back to 10-9. Todays menu

B Toast with two fried egg with gammon topped with 5 g cheese
L HM lentil gammon soup - mostly veg, lemon greek muller - very tasty!
D courgette pasta bake (remaining HEA)

banana, apple, grapefruit and a scooch of pavlova in work :D
    Syns for a skinny cappucino
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

According to syns online it shows 6.5syns for this pot on EE.

Today has been a run around day for me so feel like i have barely had chance to sit down.
    B, apple.
L, jacket potato, steak, tomato, peas and 3 onion rings ??syns
T, salmon, new potatoes, cauli, broccoli and peas.
S ryvita, total 0%, banana and 1 tsp honey 1 syn.

Low on SF's today but been so rushed to plan properly. Was daughters only day off work this week so trying to fit in eye tests, contact lense trials and then picking up materials for redecorating hallway just seemed to blur into one.

RFD and Kraftykat hope things start to improve for you both soon.

Well done on the loses to everyone who hopped on the scales today.

    See you all tomorrow.
