Checked cc a/c and balance is now £0 and the credit has gone back to my a/c striaght to another cc payment.

Have decided once I've this year's eye test and new glasses to cacel my claimback healthcare scheme for costs after realising I'm only claiming a little back out of how much I'm paying out. So come May I will be budgeting for this too and will easily be able to pay for new glasses when they are due again.

    Budgeting away indeed!

My weekend has sped by - how come Sunday always zooms past quickly these days?

Fabness today - I have just done Extreme Shred again after my 2 week break. My foot has recovered well and it went pretty well, although a little puffed!

So just had my tea and now off to hunt out a pud from the cupboard I think, The next 2 weeks will be aiming to eat up plenty from the stores to cut down on the food shop bills. All work stuff us ready to go for tomorrow and it looks like snow again - when will it feel a little more spring like?

A good day today for once on a Monday.

    NSD 13 to start with
Then did an interview trial run for the research project which went really well and only a little bit of tweaking to do. I felt very relieved afterwards, must have been praying on my mind more than I realised. Recruitment next stage for this week along with more reading. to finish off a couple of books to return on Friday and get a few more out.

Also contacted from the place I would like to work for some voluntary work experience - hoping to arrange a meeting for next week to talk it over

    Another good day today

NSD 14 - going very well, just need milk and petrol this week before weekly shop

Sent out the research recruitment emails and 3 participants agreed to take part in the research project, very pleased with that. Glad I took the plunge and went for it instead of feeling afraid of what I thought would happen when in fact that didn't happen at all and reality was completely different to my thoughts

Finally, arranged a meeting for some voluntary work experience tomorrow.

This week then is get on with reading the books to go back on Friday

Another good day - how great this week has been for a change!

NSD 15 - bought petrol and did the food shop both on budget, so counting today as NSD, all prompted by running out of milk.

Meeting went really well with the new work area to get a work experience placement. So glad I got out of my comfort zone and went for it, I think it will work out very well indeed. Will be getting some more details next week and I'll take it from there. Happliy, it's easy walking distance from my house which makes a lovely change after all the commuting up and down the motorway I've done for all these years.

So that's 2 out of my comfort zone things this week and boy have they paid off big style.

NSD 16 and 17 nabbed yesterday and today.

Good grief it's absolutely freezing here - glad I made it to work and back ok after the snow arrived last night and most of today.

Happily it is now my week off and after I got back home this lunchtime it was really nice to have a relaxing afternoon, mind you the dog walk wasn't relaxing in that bitter wind despite being wrapped up!

Made a start on the cleaning and got the worse job out of the way, did a tiring session of extreme shed and shred and made a lovely paneer curry for tea with plenty left over for other meals. Thinking tomorrow will be a root stew and then that's plenty of meals to eat up over the next few days.

Not much else to report apart from looking forward to a rest from work next week pleasing myself!

Of course I will be plowing on with the dissertation - starting the literature review writing, attempting to make sure I can decipher the methods into some kind of sense and reply to emails for 2 more participants who have agreed kindly to take part - 5 participants now that is exciting and if all interviews take place that means I have enough to complete the project. Now that's progress from where I was a week ago! All the work so far is paying off, still a long way to go though!

Wow, woke up to a winter wonderland this morning and it's still snowing!

Looks like today will be a day at home, catching up on the usual weekend tasks along with some exercise and some fabbing up of me - facemask, nails to tidy up and paint and maybe watch a film

Will be another NSD too I imagine

Come on spring, my daffodils are missing you!

Cleaning all done plus the ironing - yipee!

Onto my time now which will be some fabness and maybe read a couple of uni work chapters and watch a film, Snow has slowed down and its very mushy outside. And cold.

Time to snuggle down with my books and a film after watching the nutty economy programme early today.
