    NSD 2 today - yeah!

Met up with my tutor today and all progressing well, although a realisation about how much there is to go - an awful long way and a lot of analysis. It's time for me to strike out on my own and get on with it which I will be.

Tomorrow I'll submit my next job application and read a couple of chapters too to get through some of the mammoth pile of reading.

Aiming for another NSD too, will write my weekly shopping list, get all organised and hope there's nothing up with my foot - will see tomorrow how I get on at the Drs

Today I was verbally abused with the most abusive language I have ever heard. Another nail in the coffin about my attitude towards this field of work I've been involved in for all of these years. As far as I'm concerned its over for me as soon as I get another job I will not return. .At one point I thought I might in later years but no chance. That was the incident that closed my heart about this fiekd of work - over for me now.

Onto better news - NSD 3 today -good stuff

Job application submitted and looked for some other jobs - found a couple to apply for later this week.

Saw the Dr today who suspected I may or may not have a stress facture in ,y foot so I'm resting it for a week then reassess then to see if I need an X eay or not - hey ho, hope it recovers!

Have applied for 3 more jobs today to ease the mind and altho I have no idea how I will get on its always worth a go. Also received more feedback from last week's interview. Not a great deal to work on as a result which was good to hear. Just need to work on an example, link it to my work then link to a wider example. Plus a few more points to work on and that's it.

Back home after a long and boring day at work.

Today's tasks were to top up with petrol, did half the shop while at work, leaving last lot to do after work tomorrow which is just a few bits from my list the shop didn't have today.

Balance transfer has gone through meaning I am now down to 3 credit cards from 4 cards at long last. Never again will I have 4 credit cards and I will say this when each card is paid off and the total number of cards reduces down each time. 6mths ago I longed to be in this position as I faced up to the high interest rates for the first time seriously to pay them back and now I am 1 card less, 2 on 0% rates and tackling paying them back. Going to be a frugal year this one for sure but worth it for certain.

Study wise - a pretty fruitless search for articles however expanded my interview questions ready for the trial run in a week's time - very pleased with that bit and another job to tick off my list!

    YIPEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! It's the weekend!

Can;t you tell I am ready for it? Another choatic day at work, although heard a whisper we have a year extension on our contract - hope so, if so, will be confirmed next week.

Applied for another job - a pure punt a this one though and don't expect to hear from it but worth a try at least and also to feel more confident about the application process.

Shopping done and finished - a bit over budget this week by about £4 I think. Looking forward to a nice tea of rainbow trout and pud today. Ankle aching today, felt better yesterday and I'm hoping it's on the mend.

Time to get on with things - make one batch of soup and the ironing to begin with then a miserably grey wet dog walk I think!

Been super busy this afternoon - ironing, made soup and froze 6 portions, then made chocolate and pear pud and cake for mothers day too which apparently needs a day or so to mature. Plus if it's gone wrong gives me another day to do another one!

Cleaning all done and hoovering too.

Updated snowball calculator to reflect balance transfer and then realised I had a credit on the M+S Card. So instead of the usual thinking what I could spend it on I decided to ring and see what could be done. It's now on the way back into my a/c and I also applied to close the card down. Surprisingly the closures dept was too busy to talk to me today and will ring me instead. Now is this a ploy to keep the card open? They will call me today or Monday - I'm not certain they will now, not to worry I will call them back if they don't call and get the card closed down. Mind you, if they offer me a balance transfer rate I'll keep it and get that final card on a 0% rate, let me see what happens about this.

Another NSD in the bag too - NSD 5!

Soup making time now - a new one - cabbage and potato for the first time

All done, really pleased I did some reading, not a great deal but at least made a start.

Awful weather here today, grey, rain, sleet and cold and then some.

Also totally blasted the kcals today - oh well n'mind tomorrow's another day. Off to visit mum tomorrow which I am looking forward to spending the day together with my family.

Foot feels better today after a full week off exercising. If it still feels better I will start again on Monday all being well.

Meal planned for the next week or so and have added up the food budget spends leaving a very strict food budget to stick to over the few weeks which I don't reckon I have much chance of sticking to. Having said that I'm giving it a go all the same and will write a stricter list than usual and see how I get on with it!
