    Check me out washing the windows at 8 o'clock this morning! Thought I'd do it after coming back from the dog walk.

    Well, most things done from the weekend jobs list - just some more washing to do and hang out, make some porridge for the morning and then get ready to meet a friend for a coffee and have a walk up to town and back. This afternoon I will do a couple of hours on the literature review and then see if I fancy some exercise after yesterday feeling like I needed a day off!

    Oh dear, can feel a cold and something chesty kicking in. No wonder I needed that break during yesterday's BFBM session which I thought what on earth is up, I never need a break. Now I know why, my body was trying to tell me something. Why is it whenever the exercise programme is progressing well I come down with something?

    Hoping a nice relaxing bath later on and early night ease it all off and wake up feeling better tomorrow.

    No wonder I felt very tired when I met my friend today. Collected the coat ordered the other day which was lovely however too small across my shoulders so its going back for a refund. A shame but never mind, I'll keep an eye out for another one in the sale and see if I can get it close or below my budget of £30.

    Deffo a day off exercise - no where near up to doing that unfortunately.

    NSD 8 though - brill!

    Meal plan

    Mon - leftovers
    Tues - spag bol and veg
    Wed - prawn stir fry
    Thurs - leftover stir fry
    Fri - fish curry
    Sat - spicy yoghurt chicken
    Sun - minced beef pie and veg

    That uses up quite a bit from the freezer so will need to make a couple of batches of soup too for lunches

  • Off today certainly not feeling too well. Nothing major, just need a couple if days to get over it. So not up to much today bar lounging on the settee under a blanket.

    Happily another NSD in the bag - NSD 9

    2 jobs ticked off my list while I'm sat around not up to much
    - canx a policy
    - renegotiated with virgin - not sure if its a great deal or not - have higher speed broadband and new superhub plus a better call plan for 60p per month extra = £7.20 extra per year. Then apparentlly if I pay the line rental saver upfront it reduces the total by £59.88 per year. Now this bit is not that clear so I will call back next week to confirm that and arrange to pay it if it makes sense.

    Have also written down some jobs to do over the next week or 2 as the list worked well for things to do over the last month.

    Another little job done while sat around being bored - counted up the various change pots to add to the totals - going well, more than I expected.

    20p = £55
    50p = £40
    £2 = £104
    Total = £199
    Target = £360
    Over half way there now - 8mths to go!

    Also dragged myself out for a walk with the dog in the sun to see if I felt any better - not really and tired when I got back. Hoping to feel better tomorrow after an early night and lots of rest. Going to have an early tea and maybe do the bit of ironing from all the washing yesterday - won't take long and will be one less job later in the week

    Another job done which I have put off for a long long time - converted cc vouchers and look like I have enough to get away for a mini break for my birthday later this year - just waiting for them to come through then will ring and enquire where I can get too. Looking forward to that phonecall for a change! Also will call into the travel agents at the weekend for an enquiry.

    One more job to tick off and all is going well - will have it done by the end of next week for certain

    I'm feeling quite a bit better today - off work still and going back tomorrow. Have a couple of errands to run today - posting ebay sale and take coat back at same time as close by then call in for some milk on the way home. Uni reading I think this afternoon as feel like I can concentrate today.

    Also think I'll prep tomorrow's tea while I'm off today to make it easier after work and also sort out work stuff ready to go

  • Ebay sale posted, coat taken back for a refund and then picked up a Christmas card (!) for mum for 29p instead of £3.50 along with 2 lovely gift bags for 19p each. Not bad for 67p - did mean it wasn't a NSD afterall but a good price for these and all ready for 10mths time!

    On the way back did a bit of a freezer shop using my survey vouchers leaving me 36p to pay out of £16.50. Plenty of fish in the freezer now for easy teas over the few weeks which goes towards one of my goals to eat fish at least once a week. Have done this for last 2 weeks and also eating 5 portions of fruit and veg at the weekend - did it last weekend and now continuing this.

    Total spends = £1.03 along with drawing out £20 for day out with mum budget.

    Still felling coldy but deffo better than yesterday and the weekend.

    A bit of article reading to do next I think
