After the disasterous cake I made on Friday I made the sticky buns this morning which have turned out rather well. I halved the recipe and made the same amount which is rather good!

What else - well think I'll read for an hour then fab myself up to visit mum for a lovely day with my mum and brother

    NSD 7 today

Yesterday bought some cleaning products on half price and cloths I had run out of and an easter egg for my brother on offer so didn't claim yesterday as one as a result. I do claim a NSD when its food shopping or petrol out of the budget.

What else - ordered a few sale items using my giftcard and paid for the rest. No confirmation email as yet so not sure if I have them. Will see if they arrive for the weekend as planned. Plus id they are not perfect - back they will go for a refund so it might not cost me anything and my giftcard may pay for all of it

Also in the process of closing that credit card down - takes 7-10 days apparently - don't ya just love that eh? Any money they take straight out, any money back to me takes 2-5 days. Closing the card down takes 7-10 days. Not to worry, its done and takes my credit limit down a notch which is a good thing. Meaning in about 3 mths time I might be eligable for another 0% offer by then. Next thing to do is set up a payment scheme for the current 12mth 0% offer which I will do and see if my payment date can change to earlier in the month. Should be able to I reckon.

Money wise I'll be aiming for a super frugal tea tomorrow night of dhal and then take some for Thurs late night tea at work and if this goes ok I'll repeat it once the first 4 portions have gone. Looks cheap to make plus I have plenty of lentils to use up too!

Also took out the funds yesterday for the various budget pots of presents and car saving plan to keep on track with that. A bit painful to do but keep reminding myself of how relieved I am when I have saved up for the various tasks and so on - very relieved and very pleased! Now don't forget this!!!

Found some more jobs to apply for - more give them a go and see how I get on and also had a good group supervision session this morning and a good old supportive natter with us all about the state of play we are all in at work at this present time.

    Super organised tonight

Dhal made for tea 2 nights and 2 portions frozen. Let's see how it tastes then might be back making some more to keep the frugalness going some more.
Porridge made for next 2 mornings
Work stuff ready to rock n'roll in the morning
Ironing just about to start while watching that economist nutcase on TV that I really enjoy as it's so different to the usual news

NSD 8 today - all going well on the NSD front.

Tomorrow I will fill up with petrol, go to work, get home late, flop down, make porridge for Friday, get everything ready fir work then look forward to an early finish on Friday and aim for 2 NSDs.

Read 2 chapters from my book today which were very helpful and hoping to read 2 more tomorrow. Questions all ready to go for Monday and will need to do a little more reading before then on the methods.

Super long day today at work - only the morning to go tomorrow. Podge made for the morning ready to go then zooming back home for lunch.

Read another very interesting chapter from the book which has turned out to be a key text to base some of my dissertation upon, hoping to read another one tomorrow inbetween appts.

Then its back home for lunch, cleaning, walking, tea making, early night no doubt

I will be all ready for the rugby showdown tomorrow - half the cleaning done, so tomorrow will be finishing fabbing the house up, fabbing me up with a face mask and so on then I WILL read some uni papers all before it starts then be welded to the sofa watching all 3 matches.

The person who who horrendously verbally abused me wanted to apologise apparently - well tough luck, too late, you will learn that you will think before you speak in future. It reminds me now of it made my mind up completely to leave, hardened my attitude towards elements of my job and made me see that there is very little we can actually influence to change in someone's life without the root causes being addressed which they are far from being addressed.

Not much else to report apart from a long week at work this week, some uni work done and no exercise due to resting foot. I will get back to it this weekend as it seems ok now

All done above bar the reading which I will get on with shortly!

I have finished all my cleaning including the floor mopping now the sun has poked his head out, just waiting for it to dry while watching Ireland start to fall apart playing Italy, then I'll be zooming out with mr dog for his walk before the big game starts. C'mon England from me!

Windows are open to let some fresh air in for a change and freshen the place up some more.

All shopping done with incuding the bargain Easter Egg bought on offer for £2 in Mr S. Collected my sale order and have 2 lovely tied short sleeve shirts for the warmer weather which I expect to get a lot of wear out of - £6 each in the sale from £12.50 each. Also a lovely sleeveless white top with green and blue embroidery down the side which matches perfectly my slim cropped trousers from last year to make a nice outfit. Good buy at £14 from £35. Still deciding about the final blouse - not sure if its worth the money mind you it does look nice on so may well keep it.

Sorted some clothes out and popped some larger size ones into the charity pile as I've maintained my size now for 12mths I believe its time for them to go.While sorting the clothes out discovered a rather neon outfit to try out when it warms up which may be rather on trend for a change!

Oh dear we lost. Nevermind, it's a learning curve for the young team to build upon. This is where you learn, improve and do it - all in time for that rather great tournament in 2yrs time. Plenty of time to get to that stage - step by step.

NSD 11 today as food shop was budgeted accounted for and aiming for one more tomorrow
