..... and remember Skint you are getting a grip this week :)

did I say that ? :rotfl:

Summer is defo gone :( rain here today. Got lots done over the weekend, garden tidied & fence fixed (well bunged a few nails in and its still standing ;) ) and managed to get another coat of paint on hall / stairs / landing. About another 2 coats should do it...

Plans for today - Take DS to Mata-lan to return some trousers and get some that fit, which will involve him trying them on so not looking forward to that - what is it with men and changing rooms?

Apart from that will probably end up doing housework/ ironing / washing floors.... feel like Cinderella without the chance of parole /going to the ball

    Sanch, back to reality today?

and look at you WW with the new undies :p bet they are not belly warmers !! Your dress for prom sounds loverly ....... bet the fling will think you look more than marvellous !!

Still pondering the botox - will probably do it but just a little bit between my eyebrows to stop the frown lines from getting any worse.
Sanch - I have been trying a new toothpaste called Colgate Max One - its quite expensive (£3.99 in Tescos) but is really making a difference to my teeth colour - its the first one that's made a noticeable difference so will keep on with it for now.

Well, I've had a very pleasing day - did a morning in work and got paid extra for its as its the holidays, then The Fling came round for the afternoon - all very pleasant IYKNIM ;)
I'm seeing him again tomorrow then that will be it for a little while as I'm off to Wales to visit family on Friday.
I must say that it is quite tiring being so groomed, plucked, waxed and polished in all areas! But its worth it....

Not much else to report really apart from I weighed this morning and have lost another pound - only 3 to go to the lowest ever weight again :):) All this jigging about is obviously quite good for you!:rotfl:

Burning lots of calories then WW ;)

I managed to cut the grass and do some strimming before the rain started. Then spent the afternoon in the loft ! Had a trip down memory lane, found some old valentines cards, Ds first baby things, and my wedding album.(didn't bother looking at that!) and some of the iced flowers off my wedding cake ! I think my wedding dress is still up there somewhere. Must have a proper clear out and chuck this stuff away, don't know why I've still got it really

I also managed to find what I went up there for.... boxed mini bottle of whiskey and engraved tumbler we bought DS when he was born... will give it him for his 18th.

Have arranged to meet a friend for lunch tomorrow so I am looking forward to that. Will have to put it on the credit card :(but its payday on Friday so I will take it out of June's entertainment budget and pay it straight off. Now the tablets are starting to work and I cant feel the pain as much in my leg I need to get out !

Cant believe its Friday.... could get used to this time off !

WW hope you have a lovely time visiting your family

Took a friend out to lunch yesterday, shes been going through some personal problems lately and its her 50th on Saturday. We had a lovely meal (not very MSE & on credit card but budgeted out of Junes entertainment budget) and the owners heard us talking and brought over a free slice of cake with candle which was really sweet of them. I only had a spoonful when forced upon me ..... 'onest guv :o

Off out to lunch in a min with another friend.... only a cheapy 2 for £8 but will be good to have a catch up as haven't seen her since xmas....

Does this officially make me a "lady wot lunches" ? :rotfl:

    Definitely!! You're soooo posh! :)

Just got back from Wales - I love my family but couldn't live with them. Thankfully they live about 10 mins drive from the beach so I have escaped a couple of times with the dog for a bit of peace.:o

Saw The Fling on Thursday - went for lunch in a nice gastropub (almost as bad as you Skint!) and then had a nice afternoon.....;)

Back to work tomorrow - have loads to do this afternoon though - food shopping, laundry, cleaning, mowing the grass etc - nothing very exciting but all needs doing.
Its only 7 weeks to the big holiday so the end is in sight now.....

Saw this on a doormat of all things yesterday (took a photo to remind me) and it sums up my state of mind at the moment.....

    Laugh your heart out,
    Dance in the rain,
    Cherish the moment,
    Ignore the pain.
Live, Laugh, Love, Forgive and Forget,
    Life's too short
    To be living with regrets

    Hi everyone

Well Ive not done much today (again) I really must get a bl**dy grip! My hayfever has been in overdrive so been confined to barracks for most of the day.

Only in work two days this week then Im on holiday for two weeks. No money to go away - thought about camping and taking the dog but Im not really in the mood. Got lots of stuff planned tho ... will keep you informed.

Thats a lovely poem WW very poignant and true. Cherish the moment, yeah I agree. Thats what they say isnt it, its not the things that you did you regret but the things you didnt.

    bye for now
    Sanch x
