best advice i can think of.
If a project is annoying me it gets banished until I can face it again.
that is excactly what happened, which is why I've been "working" on it for soo long.
I also have a latch hook kit which got banished to a box about 10 years ago now.0 -

Hi ladies.
beg. Oh no, how frustrating for you! Hope it doesn't take too long to put right.
JCS. Lovely framed pieces.
Charlie. You're very welcome. Another thing with evenweave is to remember to do what is called 'stitching 2 over 2'. This means instead of using every hole like you do with aida you use a hole then miss a hole then use the next.
This shows what I mean better than I can explain itAlso if you scroll down to see the picture you can see the difference in the unstitched areas where the fabric is on show.

Nmm. Nice update.
Fos. Very nice bookmark and MD card. I love them both!
Chicky. Cute bug!
Here's an update from me,

Today,
Thanks, I was thinking about asking for an example of what it looks like.
I presume as long as i get the right count I can use even weave for any project?
Your cat/kitten is very cute.0 -

Yep, can use it for any project in place of aida. As has been said, it's especially easy to use when having to do fractional stitches.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Lovley finishes soulie, Charlie, I have recently started using evenweave and I love it, although it does fray around the edges a lot more13 in 2013 challenge 9/130

would have made my popcorn bear easier, there are lots of what I assume are quarter stitches and its quite hard to pop the needle right through the middle of a square.0 -
for those with crafty mums ....... have you seen the pretend cross stitch card at tesco? £1 for medium sized at the moment. used them at christmas and they are FAB.
Even better - they will send to your recipient. You'd not buy a card and stamp for £1!!!
eta: charge 60p for postageloves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0
