I get the feeling there is going to be quite a few blackwork angels being stitched :rotfl:

These are the blackwork historical women, they're all about A4 in size (I've folded some of the fabric over so they would fit on 3 pics). I think I was in 6th form when I did them, so erm, that puts it back to about 1995.

I was impatient at the time and didn't have the right size pearl beads for the Elizabethan women, think time to sort that one out as they are too big.

Ruth-honey - great news to hear that your bike has passed MOT. Thanks for asking how things are going - well its been a week since the funeral and it still seems hard to take in what has happened.
As the WTP pic was well received I have been stitching a couple of little 'memory cards' (I think thats what they are called) similar to the one Louise posted a couple of weeks and will pass them on the parents/grandparents when I get them done.

On the subject of temperature, when we got in tonight, I noticed the temp on the dash was 5 deg. Tempted to put heating on but trying to last out as it is so late and will try to get to bed shortly.

Oh can I just ask while it is in my head - can the 12/12/12 christmassy project just be a mini one or does it have to be something on a larger scale????

chicky - I fancied that 12 day of xmas MS one last year. Still fancy it this year but I don't think I will be able to get around to it in time. . Enjoy Blackpool - hope you've packed your fur-lined knicks

I'm sure they will be well recieved - if you laminate them they last for ages at a cemetery or memorial spot (((hugs)))
You have reminded me I also have to do christmas ones of those as well.

As for the 12/12/12 there aren't any hard and fast rules, it's pretty much anything christmassy which you can sign, date and display
Better to do a smaller design which you know you will complete in time. Unlike me......d'oh :rotfl:
