Many years ago, there was a series of either 10 or 12 historial blackwork ladies with gold embellishments in Needlecraft magazine, starting with ancient Egypt and ending up with a 1920's flapper girl. I've got them all stitched, but never got around to framing as scared of the cost!

Will dig them out tomorrow, will give me a reason to go through the unframed drawer to see what I can take to framers next

I was just going to ask the same thing - I would love to see them
