Cross Stitch Cafe - stitching out of 2012 and into 2013...

Yay on Hubbys laptop :j
Mrs MP - lovely butterfly and you've finished it so quickly. Think I may start my square next.
Crafty - your flapper ladies over on 13 of 13 are fantastic. How long did they take you to finish? Are there many of them left in the series that you want to complete?
BEG - looking forward to seeing your update on the 12 days, the pig in the tutu sounds fun.
Bossymoo - your house is coming along a treat, it looks really nice. I can't cope with stitching on black at this time of the year, think it's psychological more than anything else to be honest.
Well I have finished my Eye and I'm really happy with it. Don't know where I'm going to hang it but think I will try to frame it myself if I can get a mount that is suitable (would like a green one but only know where to get cream ones from).

Looks fabulous
After someone on here (sorry I can't recall who) recommended ezeframe I used them for a name mount and frame for a Xmas gift - both I and the recipient were delighted - great quality though not cheap. They do mounts in various colours as well as frames0 -

morning all
bossy that is looking really neat, great update
Ailsb i love your eye
in school all morning helping 'my' class with their mothers day bookmarks again, but i did do a bit more dragons wing in bed as i got up early.
re selling kits, the only thing that REALLY annoys me is people who sell them with no instructions!!!!!! i bought loas at the car boots when i first got back into it and they are virtually all useless as they are literally just the cover kits without the instructions from the mags
have a good day allSPC~12 ot 124

Morning all,
Bossymoo - You are making great progress.
Ailsb - I LOVE that eye. Very unusual.
Mrs Moneypenny - You Sandyhook square is very touching.
Thanks for all the updates I love seeing them grow, it always keeps me motivated. I am almost finished my mums birthday present (not great with stitching deadlines) and then back to making cards.0 -

Going to give gold needles a try (damn the expense). What size of needle do I need to use for 14ct aida (use this the most).
