Hiya, latest BD update, atm it looks like the colours don't blend, but i have faith. Been taking a break to stitch the free bunny kit from WOCS, i hate it all those fractional stitches, the thread keeps breaking and i have been reverse stitching loads. It will look lovely finished though :rotfl: My BD is so easy to stitch all X's and nice blocks of colours, can't wait to get back to it :)

  • Afternoon ladies,
Hope you have fun atthe show Subtle-Minx and Ruth Honey. :)
I haven't been to a show in years, probably a good thing as I spent way too much :D.

Well it is my sons second day at preschool and he cried when we left :( we rang school 10 minutes later to be told he stopped as soon as we left, and was currently in the sand pit having a fabulous time!
    Kids eh?? :rotfl:
So hopefully he enjoyed the rest of his day.

I managed a little bit of stitching today, will post updates this evening.
    Have a stitchy evening all!

  • nme- Love your pic, it looks a lovely design. I know what you mean about that free kit! I've broken so many threads, it's quite frustrating  You're right though, it'll look nice when finished.

  • Well that is Jaxon off out for the rest of the day and night (my cousin never brings him back till around midnight). Hubby away to bed for a while as he said he didn't feel great (and I encouraged him to go..lol). Wee film coming on 5+1 that sounds quite good and me new kit arrived this morning. However I had started a new square for Sandy Hook so am going to finish that off first.....xx
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)
  • nmm lovely update. Sounds like the WOCS free kit uses cheap thread - that's 2 of you finding it breaks which is very unusual for DMC or Anchor (and the colours aren't listed which is another suggestion that they aren't branded threads)

mrsmp your sandy hook square is lovely and the border really goes well with the butterfly. Nice start on the dragon kit

am good news about your son settling in

Opinions please. I have just received a message through fleabay about selling charts from magazines and been told that it is illegal to sell the free gifts that you receive with magazines. What does everyone else think of this? If this was the case, surely there would be alot of fleabay sellers in trouble.

Not much stitching done here lately - DD's birthday, change in nap times and DH working away do not make for a peacful stitching time.
