    Hi ladies.

Hope those of you with recent hospital visits all got on ok.

Caroline. Hope you had a lovely birthday! :) Nice to see you are all settling in to your new home so well.

Damn you photobucket for making me look a fool!

Glad it's not just me this seems to happen to :D The amount of times I have uploaded, resized, saved, posted here, seen a massive pic, done all the above again, only to come back to re-post and the pic is now as I originally wanted it!

The card is lovely btw, I'm sure your friend will love it.

Thought I'd post this deal in Argos for 150 skeins of unbranded thread for £19.99 http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Search/searchTerms/150+SKEIN.htm
Reviews are mixed but generally good. Might help someone build up their unbranded stash and would be ok for those times when you want to colour change part of a design or for when designing your own piece from scratch.
I had thought about getting it myself but my unbranded stash is large enough already!
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

that list is getting longer and longer caroline

enjoying dragon kit, its quite small so shouldnt take too long the stitched area is 8X6 inches its only got 7 different colours and 5 of them are shades of red.

In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind
  • Loving seeing all your stitching projects they all look fantastic. At last I have the stitching bug again and the Noahs Ark birth sampler that I should've finished last July is almost there!! another week and I think it will be completed. Have just also taken advantage of the 5 for £5 WOXS hoping they will inspire me to carry on stitching!! :j

mrsmp. Glad your boiler is fixed. (meant to comment in previous post but got distracted by the Argos thing) I'm sitting here wondering if to put the heating on but with the price of oil these days I try not to put it on till the afternoon.

BM. Look forward to seeing a completed pic next week then? :D

  • Tricksie (& Ruth honey) - Tickets arrived today! Thank you! Anyone know if you can sign up in advance for any workshops? Never been to a crafting fair and excited :)

Maria - Pattern arrived earlier, I love it and am wondering if I could stitch one up for my mum in time for mother's day. Thank you very much!

Thanks Tricksie for the tickets & subtle_minx for letting me join you. Here's the site with more info about the show. Cant see about booking workshops, though.

If there isn't anything on the website about booking workshops in advance they are almost certainly the "turn up early and book on the day" version - which usually means they are free. It's the first thing I do when I arrive at a show as I love the workshops - it's such a great way to decide if you like a new technique before buying all the bits.

Hope you both enjoy the show and am looking forward to the report :D

Although I've been to quite a few shows over the years, I've never done a workshop, so I'd be interested in trying one. Free is always good in my book...:D
