Opinions please. I have just received a message through fleabay about selling charts from magazines and been told that it is illegal to sell the free gifts that you receive with magazines. What does everyone else think of this? If this was the case, surely there would be alot of fleabay sellers in trouble.

Not much stitching done here lately - DD's birthday, change in nap times and DH working away do not make for a peacful stitching time.

Who was the message from? Was it an official EB message? There are certainly lots of these kits on sale and have been for many years.
  • I have often sold the free gifts on eBay and never had any problems. Was this message from another eBay member or eBay itself...xx
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)

Just from another ebay member. I have often sold the free gifts and think that if people are willing to pay over the odds for them, then that is their choice. Surely it is mine to sell as I bought the magazine and associated gift.

ANother community fair on Saturday so hoping to do better than last time (sold 3 things!!)

    Off Topic:
Have 'acquired' DS's ipod and downloaded app which is like one of the machines that used to be at the amusement arcades at the seaside and its a bit like Tipping Point on tv and I'll just say I think I might be addicted .

    Take care everyone.

I can't answer your question Emma as I simply don't know what is the correct answer but if they were not allowed to be sold on fleabay and people didn't want them then they would end up in landfill

When I first started cross stitching I was rubbish at it and it was an absolute joy to discover all the old kits popping up on fleabay :T

I think it is a 24 needle for 14 count. It usually tells you in the back of the magazines as a guide
