Wow - that is stunning!! Well done on perservering with it.
My other question that i forgot to ask earlier - can anyone recommend a card I could stitch for my friend who has just announced she is having twins but we don't know what 'mixture' they are so can't stitch just blue or pink!! More aimed at when she actually has them later in the year.
Thanks

Check Joan Elliots link on fb for her take on it. She has a pdf that can be downloaded and kept for future ref.

gildius - your Great Wall is looking great.
Brednall - I remember a chart in a magazine sometime ago now that was for twins. I'll find it out and let you see it. If it's any good you are welcome to it.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

This is just my opinion start with something simple like the block of patches posted by moments. Charm packs are 5 inch squares in coordinating fabrics I've bought from this seller and been very happy with the service. http://http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MODA-Charm-Pack-Quilt-Blocks-/120925123655?_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D74%26meid%3D4963786233961246410%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D1048%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D110953253568%26
If you do this you don't need the cutter mat and ruler immediately. Stitch the blocks with quarter inch seams, add wadding (same seller) and a plain backing. Then quilt by stitching "in the ditch" which is over the seams. This is what I would practice on some spare fabric first
Good luck. I'm sure you will love it0 -
