BEG The £3.75 that it cost me was to download all 14 downloads. The one that we were talking about is actually free, so great value.

  • Well ......... I have a snow day tomorrow :j so extra stitching time for me :D

I might actually get some more of my Rats done!!

We are off out to Mr. M's in the morning (hopefully) for the big shop. I went out to aerobics tonight (watching out in case halo hits me on the head :D) and it was snowing steadily then and it is still coming down and certainly leaving a covering.

    morning all
we had snow yesterday which has settled but nothing today so sent DS2 off to school supposed to be getting some later but dont think it will amount to much it never does when they say its going to be hideous. film flight last night was good but showed really graphic drug use wasnt quite how i thought it would be, from the trailer he looked like a great pilot whod made the mistake of having one drink before the crash and was getting hung out to dry because of it but it was a different film entirely. DD3 who went with us said she fully intends to locate the pilot and sniff his breath before they fly to new york in the spring.

re book recomendations, i love philippa gregory, and mitch alborm.
The Book Thief is an all time fave of mine, im reading water for elephants at the mo.

patchwork panel loks fab, well done

hope everyone gets their threads soon that are stuck in the post or not yet arrived.

wind picking up here now so still planning on getting all jobs done today and having a stitchy weekend

Morning to all. Snow here last night but nothing more this morning yet(!!). I have a couple of questions:

    (1) Is it possible to buy Humphrey's Corners kits apart from Fleabay or do any of your lovely ladies have any you won't be stitching?
    (2) Where is the best place to buy Lizzie Kate charts and did anyone have a response whether the stitched pieces can be sold at craft fairs etc?

Did anyone find anything worthwhile in the hobbycraft sale? A long way for me to Nottingham especially in this weather.

    Have a safe day everyone

  • re Lizzie Kate, i never got a reply when i asked if it was ok to use the free charts from thier site to sell on a charity stall with all money going to the school. i even made it clear my time and materials would be donated so all money was going to the school.
there are quite a few nice free charts on the site so worth looking there

It's been a while, but I've progressed LOADS with the Great Wall of China - can't believe I'm almost halfway through, and it's taken about 7 and a half months!

Snow in Bristol, but disadvantage of working from home is that you don't get a snow day :(

    Happy new year stitching everyone!

Your link's not working :( - can't wait to see it though, as it's a stunning design. My monochrome HAED hasn't progressed nearly so far, although with the snow falling like it is I don't think I'll be going anywhere this weekend. Snowed in with cross stitch - like that thought :T

    Hi ladies.

BEG. Completely typical! And for me, the more I try to get that one knot, the messier it all seems to look!

Gildius. As mags said, your link doesn't work but I think I saw the update by removing everything after hobbies/
It's looking stunning! Nice work :)
