I think it looks great The notice boards are a great idea, and I don't think you need to cover them tbh.

Are you just going to put all your keyrings out at the same time? What are the little leaflets at the front?

actually finished a wip this afternoon, i'd done the stitchy part of a crown pincushion/hanger that came as a cover kit during the run up to the jubillee but hadnt put it together. so this afternoon it was beaded stuffed blanket stitched around the edge and had the hanging ribbon added.

Thanks for your comments. I was planning on keeping some back just in case there is a mad rush of sales(!!)

The leaflets at the front just say thank you for looking at my stall and asking for any feedback on what people might like to see different in the future, I have also done some to put in the bags with any purchases saying a similar thing.

THe cover is actually an old duvet cover which I need to cut down and iron so it is not so creased.

Back to stitchy matters, I have a kit that has 22ct hardanger - would you recommend changing this for 14 or 16 count aida instead as there is no way I am stitching on such a small count!!

I would have thought you could do 22ct over 2 threads if you wanted to (if the fabric was big enough) therefore becoming like 11count (and being big).

I would be tempted to make a big bright sign and put on one of the notice boards to try and attract people.. OR one of the things a local shop to me has done which catches my eye every time is to print off large blue thumbs up (the facebook 'like' sign) and stick all over their window. Perhaps you could dot some along the edges of the boards with 'testimonials' on. (no-one will know you've written em all) like "A1, fab product", "my sister was so impressed with her keyring", "made me a card to order in under a week - so impressed, personal and cheaper then a local card shop"................ just an idea?

Hi everyone Im new here!
Been trying to find a friendly cross stitch forum, some seem to be quite clicky and not accept new comers very well but from looking around here you all seem lovely so fingers crossed

Im a nightmare and get bored too easily, I seem to need to see results quickly to motivate me but I really want to try something bigger or more detailed. Cards seem to be my limit at the moment and that makes me sad

I LOVE christmas so I thought maybe a detailed or bigger christmas design might be good for me, so hopefully Ill find a nice design and you lot will keep me motivated

Here we go my first question (making a pain of myself already!)

Ive been looking and I love the look of Santa's secret and candy cane santa by dimensions, I think those may get me motivated but I have fabric and loads of threads so don't really need a kit but I cant seem to find just the charts for sale.
Am I being an idiot and missing a website or do they not sell the charts separately?
