I usually cancel my 5 for £5 when I have received about no. 2 or 3 caroline. They say that is fine and I will still receive the remaining ones but no further d/ds will be taken. I also cancel with the bank just in case. I'm still dithering and cannot make my mind up on which ones to order.

I'm not too enthusiastic over NYE either FE - just another day imo.

Been to family christening today so no more of free kit stitched. Planning on settling down on sofa to watch Big Fat Quiz possibly with a little tipple in hand as I have been the 'designated driver' today and been on the soda water.

If anyone is doing anything special for NY - hope you all have a lovely time.

Hi guys, lovely updates managed to get some BD done, in the space that is left to do i only need to use 2 colours :j should stitch up very quickly New Year is also just another day to me and my OH, to my family its an excuse to get drunk, not that they need one :rotfl:

I got a hoop today! But by the time I've sorted the kids out I only stitched one thread, and my eyes got tired



I promise I won't photograph every thread but I'm just excited to have finally got going. It's blimmin enormous and will take me all year :rotfl:

Back to work tomorrow but office closing at 1pm :T

Finished a UFO of several years old last night, it was a poppy bookmark which was all done apart from the back stitching - and it was the type that doesn't line up to any holes in the aida at all and is a real pain to do. 1 down, not sure how many more to go!

Good Evening All, I have finally finished my first cross stitch cushion and I am really pleased with how it has turned out :j

I am going to start the second one tomorrow as it's too late now, I would post a picture but I have no idea how to from DH's I-pad???

Ladies, which websites are you looking at for the cross stitch magazines as I have done a search but can only find the WOXS offer? I would like to get an alternative one for my DD who is also into Xstitch(even thought she is only 17) :rotfl:

Another one here for a quiet night in on NYE. One of my dogs is terrified of fireworks and OH and I are both working everyday.
Have just opened a flickr account and am going to keep it just for xstitch projects. Think I have managed to get it working.

I'm also having a quiet night in on my own tomorrow - can't be doing with lots of drunk people and the cost of getting places and buying drinks.

Going to watch a DVD or 3 and get some serious stitching done :j
