Hi guys update time again :) The end is in sight for page 3, i'm hoping to complete it today or tomorrow not many stitches to do, not sure if you can tell in the photo due tot he grey fabric :rotfl:

Really like the framed pieces Louise and the wings are beautiful Maria. DofH looks great so far chicky :) Love the coasters too very festive.

Yesterday was mostly spent wrapping presents and making a chicken curry (well prepping it and leaving it on the hob to cook). It was horrid and I won't be making it again.

I now realise why I have so little money. I lost count of the presents I wrapped and the pile is enormous.

Today I have mostly been tidying and doing housework. I have a few more housekeeping duties to do before I shall settle myself on the sofa late afternoon for films (lady and the tramp or the grinch) later its snowman and the snowdog and my cross stitch (I hope).

    Merry Christmas everyone :xmastree:

Here is Jemima all framed and ready to be wrapped up for Mum.

Here are 4 out of 5 coasters ready for my Christmas table. Wish now that I had done 5 of the NOEL ones as they were easy to stitch and look lovely on the sparkly fabric. No-one will probably even notice them though but I know they are there.

Hope everyone has a great Christmas and thanks for a great supportive year.

They are all lovely and even in the photo I can see how good the sparkly fabric looks. Perhaps you can stitch a couple more over the Xmas break ready for next year?
  • FE - I think I would be tempted to bs after stitching each cat. Looking good btw.

JCS1 - your square is lovely and so appropriate.

brednall - I'm sure your Mum will love Jemima and your coasters are great. Love the sparkly aida.

maria - good luck with the wings.

Made a reasonable attempt at catching up on housework today - more or less just got the steam mop to run over the dining room and kitchen.

So much for watching Strictly last night - I saw little Dani and Vincent getting kicked off and then fell asleep :o. I wasn't really expecting that result though - might of had something to do with Louis getting his top off :rotfl::rotfl:

DH has just handed me a sewing needle he found in the carpet - don't know where that could have come from

Take care of yourselves if you're dashing around tomorrow.

IMHO it's worth catching up with the rest of the show I thought it wa one of the best finals (and I've been a fan since series 1). Louis was the favourite so I wasn't surprised at the result and I voted for him early on but I thought Denise was the best dancer (just like Ricky Whittle was a better dancer than Chris Hollins but just not as popular). Sat nights won't be the same without my Strictly fix

Hope you've got your energy back for whatever you need to do today
