Got loads of stuff that needs doing but just dont seem to have the motivation atm - this is not me - I always like to be up to date and organised - what is wrong with me ...........................???? Any vitual kicks up the bum will be much appreciated

I don't feel in the mood for anything either. tired and grumpy is how I feel. lots to do but can't be bothered. Think I will lay off the festive spirit today and hopefully get a better night's sleep tonight and feel more festive tomorrow!

We are just about to have our meal then I will take up residence on the sofa to watch the final of Strictly with possibly a little tipple of something.

Good Evening Girls,

Hope everyone is well and not flooded out.

My threads for my AOY charity stitch arrived today. I ordered it same time (3 hours apart) as the material for purple work part two and the material arrived on Thursday and the threads today. So hopefully make a start on them soon.

Thank you to all of you who signed up for quilts for the families affected by the shooting in Connecticut. I have an additional square to do as I noticed one of the wee girls shares the same birthday as me, so I thought I would do one for her too. Thats a total of 8 squares I am doing. Going to buy a big piece of aida and cut it up - cheaper than buying squares individually.

Hubby got a letter today saying he didn't get the job - sad as it was not far from my work. Just have keep trying.

Went into Glasgow to get a couple of last minute gifts - was surprised how quiet it was - was expecting it to be alot busier. I have a shift to do at work tomorrow, then I am off for two weeks - hope to do most of my quilt stitches then.

Just about to start my first square for the Sandy Hook quilts, feel quite sad (but also grateful to be part of this project). Can't quite put into words, but I'm sure you know what I mean x

First square done, found a Lizzy Kate design but changed the colours, planning to do one in pink and a neutral one also.

Where is everyone getting their designs from? I have a couple here that I am thinking of doing, but will need to chart some wording I think.
