Thanks for all the help re slow Cooker have brought one now and made a lovley butter chicken yesterday was delish. So if anyone has any recipies they want to share I would be grateful.

I think I remember you saying you have a Kindle Fire - there are quite a lot of cheap (and some free) slow cooker recipe books in the Kindle Store though some of them are American and therefore include ingredients not readily available here.

Soups are very easy to make in the slow cooker - I tend to throw in whatever I have to hand (veg that is past its best, lentils or split peas, onion, garlic, a few herbs bits of chicken or ham etc.) Will definitely be using it with left over turkey next week :rotfl:

Awww just got my email from WOXS and it says "Start issue of "MAR 13 200" (Published on or around 31/01/13)" Means i have to wait till the end of next month for my first mag

hi chicky, this is the one i used, it says pureed tomatoes but it wasnt very saucey iyswim so i think next time i will try tinned toms and see if that works, this website has loads of yummy sounding recipies on it trying another tommorrow

Thanks for the kind comments on my WIPs everyone. Since I posted the pics I haven't actually managed to pick up the needle though so my 20-12-2012 deadline isn't looking quite so on now!

Oh heck - just checking in quickly before I'm off to bed and thanks to ejs I realise that tomorrow is 20.12.2012 (had totally slipped my mind). However there is just a bit of back stitching left so hopefully I will manage to finish in time. Thanks for the reminder ejs

Good Morning Girls

Hope you are all well.

Just on to say thank you to JCS for her kindness.

Not done much stitching been working hard before the Christmas break. I am off for the two weeks so trying to get stuff organised before my leave.

Feeling so very tired today - more than normal - hubby is up early he has an interview today so hopefully. Trying hard not to get my hopes up.

Got news my material has been dispatched from CSH, so hopefully can start part two of the purple work soon. On facebook they are looking for squares for quilts for families of the victims of the shooting - wondering should I do a square or two. Already doing two for an AOY charity quilt.

Off for a wee mooch round before I leave for work.
