Hi Girls
Hope you are all well.
Just been mooching around wondering what to do. Found an old pattern with some threads but some are missing - they are anchor threads and I just need about 15 colours - someone on here had some for sale - who was it I can buy from them if they remind me.
Sent in my order to cross stitch heaven for my threads I need for the AOY quilt and made my lists and sent them on for the exchange of the magazine with the diary in it.
Going out later to finish off my chirstmas shopping - just maw and paw to get and my secret santa for work. Managed to find hubby an electric toothbrush for £10 - asda own make but same heads as a colgate. Need to pay for my first avon order made about £15, so not too bad for only 4 customers.
Keep well girls,

well done on your first Avon cash sweetcarer
eeeeek louise thats a LOTTT of money.
YAYAY my stitchey stash has arrived so just need to get diver robins suit for DS1 on Lego batman then I can make a start on my DO homes.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
I made the trek to @sda today to take the dvd back that I stupidly bought last week. No problem getting refund (phew).
xmas tree up and new microchip catflap fitted :T - carpet fitter due at my friends turned up on time and room clearance (that I helped with) went smoothly all in all a productive day apart from forgetting that the new issue of a puzzle mag I like is out  :rotfl:(could have picked up when in town)
no stitching managed and I don't feel in the mood for any this evening. Instead I'm going to try the new malibu I bought at @sda (snowcoco) (malibu with coconut bits is the only difference I think - was cheaper than normal malibu) so I thought I would give it a try.
really looking forward to finishing work for xmas and suspect I won't do any proper stitching till then. :j
Oh I almost forget. I had a rather random idea earlier that just popped into my head. I *think* it is a good idea. I'm just not sure how easy it will be to put into practice....
Its too late to start this year but I can do it next year.... In short, it is a stitchable advent calendar. So each day in December, I stitch a few stitches and come December 25th, I have a finished festive project. I need to think about finer details, size of project, exactly how many stitches per day etc but I like the idea and have plenty of time to decide.....0 -

perhaps the stitchers could post what they made so we can see?? Must be disapointing to have put so much work in and not have it shared with everyone else............I know I'd be feeling a bit put out if it was me after all we all agreed to the timescales.
Oh, I thought I have wrote about not having a camera at the minute, but looking back I didn't write anything...sorry..:oAlthough I didn't take part (because of being on holiday) I've loved seeing the pictures that have been posted.
However, if I had I'd not have been worried if my recipient hadn't posted a shot. I would only have worried if they hadn't received the card.
Would it be an idea if I posted a thread in our Flickr group so that people could add shots in one place?
Great idea..:j;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)0 -

Good morning stitchers
How right is Maria. Love Christmas but it does get in the way of everything else especially as December is also one of our busiest times at work
For me yesterday was a visit to the cometary then delivering presents to family we won't see until family get together just before new year (not my turn to host this year :j)
Managed a few stitches on Christmas Cheer last night
Today is writing cards and wrapping presents as well as checking lists for things still to do
Hope everyone has a lovely day and hugs to those that need them0 -
