Although I didn't take part (because of being on holiday) I've loved seeing the pictures that have been posted.

However, if I had I'd not have been worried if my recipient hadn't posted a shot. I would only have worried if they hadn't received the card.

Would it be an idea if I posted a thread in our Flickr group so that people could add shots in one place?
    Yes please. Great idea

Terribly bad form to be quoting myself, I know :rotfl:

However, I've started that thread in our group on Flickr and the first post contains instructions on how to get your pictures into the thread.

It'd be great to see them all together :D

  • grrrrrrrrrr flippping weather!!!!!!

My path/ road (and most of the others in the county) are just sheets of ice - which when you have 1 toddler + a buggy + a 20min walk uphill to the childminders then a 15min steep one downhill to the tram is not an easy task.
we got bundled up just for DS1 to slip at the bottom of our passageway and i struggled to actually get to him (and keep upright) to get to him.
Hubby has spent an hour gritting the paths and managed to make it to the shop for bread but says no way will i get anywhere else as he had to walk on the road and with the icy conditions i can't expect to do that with kids and idiot car drivers.

rang in work to update them and got told fair enough but if it clears later on (like it's supposed to) then try again to get in. I did offer to take my kids into work (as i can manage to get in that direction - all downhill and gritted) easy enough but they weren't keen!!
I also offered to work from home - but i don't have the systems i need.
So now I have to use another holiday day and have my childminder on standby incase i can get there....and pay her either way..... have 2 kids who haven't a clue what's going on (was supposed to be their christmas party today) and DS1 keeps asking if he is going or not. Then bundle us all up again in an hour to see if we can make it past the top of the road.

    grrrrrrrrrrrr.
my stitchy parcel was dispatched on Wednesday but not holding out hope for postie bringing it today.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

    Done :)

You need to click the symbol to get the link to load, but it comes up after you have done that. Flickr doesn't seem to like Photobucket for some reason.

    Morning ladies.

FOS. Very nice updates & finishes, I especially like the coaster.

Ruth. No problem, you're welcome :) I thought the shade of red looked ok but now your DH mentions it, it might be nice to do it darker to make it stand out more and become part of the design seeing as it's a special kind of date (can't remember the word for it)

    Off topic.

Chicky. I use Asda smartprice disposable razors and have tried both twin blade and single blade versions. I much prefer the single blade version as it doesn't get clogged with the shave gel I use. If memory serves me correctly they cost around 25-35p for a pack of 10.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

I've posted mine that I received from Mrsmp

I didn't think it was appropriate to post the one I stitched but I can if Sweetcarer isn't on Flickr

Thanks magscat for creating the thread. Looking forward to seeing all in one place
