Mags_cat - help me please.
How can I add that my card was from Firefly on the flickr group. Will I be better deleting it and starting again. Sorry but I am not familiar with flickr and my head is a bit addled at the moment.
Love the latest pics.
Take care everyone

I've have had a bit of a spring clean today so I haven't done any stitching and doubt I will do any now until Friday when I finish for xmas :j
off topic - do we have any malibu drinkers amongst us ???
I drink it. Not often, mind you. Have you seen the Christmas bottles? They are done like a snow globe with bits of coconut floating inside. Very cute!maria_and_the_imps wrote: »Where is everybody today?
Been out with my mum on a drive to Hereford. Glad the rain held off until we started coming home.
Bit disappointed that I didn't get to see my brother or stepmum this visit, but was only here for about 70 hours and needed to visit other family & friends. Whoever bothered to reply to my text/email/phone calls first got first dibs on my time! Those two left it until TODAY to get in touch. Yeah, appreciate you're working too, but if you let me know in advance, I can try and work my schedule around that a bit. Oh well...never mind.
Gave out my Pots of Christmas to people & said they could open those now (other gifts to be opened on Christmas day) and they went down well, I think. Some had the stitched tree decoration in and they were put up straight away.Nobody won any money on the scratchcard though. I bet you my brother will, which will really annoy me!;)
Had a lovely home made chocolate Yule log from a friend who is going through a tough time. She is such a lovely girl & I hate seeing her so sad. I know she's always liked those Russin dolls that stack up. I would love to buy her a set for her birthday. Any ideas where I could buy them at a good price?
Back to London tomorrow. Missed DH & Blossom. Looking forward to next weekend, so we can stick on a christmas film & just chill out for a bit.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Yes I bought some of the limited edition snow coco at the weekend as it was cheaper than the normal malibu. It is nice but I think would taste better ice ice cold with coke. It seems sweeter to me than normal malibu but that just might be my imagination as I was drinking it with pepsi and that is sweeter I think than coca cola.
eta I bought 10 scratchcards to give as xmas gifts. the first two have not been winners....0 -

No stitching done over weekend, realistically not going to get any done until I finish work on Friday have a very busy week lots of extra hours to get all done for Christmas.
JCS your project looks good look forward to seeing it complete.
Have you all decided what to do project wise in the new year, I'm just aiming to finish mine for now. I'm not very quick so it may take some time.
Have a good day everyone what ever you are doing its a great feeling knowing there is only 5 days left for me then 2weeks holidayYou can if you think you can .0 -

Under your picture there should be a edit link, then you can add some text to it, hthCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -
Hi everyone.
I've just added the Christmas card to the flickr group.
I know how people feel regarding Christmas getting in the way of stitching. I feel the same way. I've spent most of this eve decorating a christmas cake for someone at work. I should be able to squeeze in an hour though before bed. The cat is asleep (thank god). He keeps playing with the Xmas presents
I've finished one piece of work. As soon as it's washed and ironed I'll post a picture. I might be lucky and finish another one tomorrow (this is one that I'm stitching during lunch breaks at work) the third one has lots of beading so maybe by the end of the year it'll be finished.#19 Save £12K in 2019 challenge. well I made a start on Dictionary of Homes Saturday..... and unpicked it all..........and redid it (as I started 1 row too high.... DOH!
Here's where I'm up to.... gonna have an hour on it now before I fall asleep.
I've spent most of today wrapping christmas pressies..........then remembered I had bought DS1 special lego paper so gonna have to spend another night unwrapping and re-wrapping his. I have come to the conclusion there are too many presents too little space in my room to put it all. (as we now have family pressies here as well. ) I think some of it's gonna have to go under the tree and pray DS2 doesn't try and unwrap em all.
Both kids drove me crackers tonight with DS2 (19month) climbing into his brothers top bunk bed!!!! DS1 now asleep in my bed and DS2 is eventually asleep in his own bottom bunk bed.
I even gave in and said they could sleep in the same bed but they wouldn't even calm down and do that.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0
