    Hi ladies.

    Everyone's updates are fab.

Welcome Laura, always great to have new stitchers join us.
Just to answer your frame query. I use a roller frame with clips and never take my work off in-between stitching. Only thing I sometimes do is when working on a large piece and some of the design is rolled around the bars a couple of times, to try and lessen the squashing of the stitches, I loosen it off over night then tighten again when I'm working on it.

As for me, I have started on the Cat & Kittens sleeping design and it's coming along ok.

  • Hi everyone.

I've finally finished Japanese Ambiance. I've been stitching this since February during lunch breaks at work and I finished it yesterday. Pic is below:

  • We used to bath baby boy in the living room so he could watch a bit of tv before bedtime, changed a while ago to putting his baby bath in the big bath, but I decided tonight to put it in the living room so I could try and get a bit of paperwork done...

    Remembered now why we changed...

The floor and everything is covered in water and bubbles where he has splashed. Trying to tell him no but it is just so funny....lol...xx

I used the baby bath once - hated it. Threw mine (literally some nights) into the big bath upstairs. I think it was really good for them as they show no fear at all in the swimming pool.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

We use the big bath sometimes but we have to put the gas on to get hot water so one push of the button gives us enough hot water for hubby to get a bath, me to get a bath, and baby to get a baby bath...poor neglected child...lol...xx

Welcome Laura - can't see your stitch for some reason. Like your avatar - I too have a black kitty. She also enjoys cross stitch

Thinking way back when I first came to the cafe I presented this to the girls and wondered if it was worth saving (DMC threads)

    Picture006.jpg

They helped me and in the end I completed it - I washed it with some soap powder and the bath and rinsed it with the shower.

    Heres how it finished.

    Week204.jpg

Off to get the graph paper out to get the details for the baby bear stitch and I might even try and finish my lavender stitch for 12.12.12

    Kind wishes to all

    sweetcarer ;)

take him in with one of you for 10 mins then pass him over to finsh relaxing. I've had 3yrs of sharing a bath - had to stop now as i can't get in with the 2 of them :rotfl:
