Just sharing a quick pic first & will catch up from the PC in a little while.

This is my 12/12/12 project. As you can see, it's not quite finished. There's 5 red stitches missing from his scarf. Saving those to stitch-along with dating it-on Wednesday. :)

Watching Rod Stewart Christmas thing on ITV at the moment. Love Kylie & have a soft spot for Mr Buble too. ;)

Hope everyone is having a nice relaxing weekend.

  • this is the margaret sherry one I have il_570xN.259202014.jpg

but I'm not keen on some of the pics as to me they don't symbolise the months enough (whereas diary = jan 1st to me)

I also have a 'popcorn bear' one and a 'nelson cat' one..... again they are too 'samey'

polar bear is very cute ruth_honey

Ruth-Honey, I'm terribly sorry to have got your cat confused with Flat-Eric's cat.

Thats a really cute trick that your cat can do!

I'm going to be turning the 'let it snow' into a bunting to go over our fireplace.

I didn't get to do as much stitching as I wanted to today, but hoping to catch up with some this evening:j

    That's quite alright. :)
Fetch is totally her game. She came up with it! She started out with a litter twiglet, I think. Now she plays it with lolly stick, a monkey nut & her fish toy.
I *think* the card post is tomorrow, but will wait for Caroline to confirm.

hope you 'neighbour' recovers soon flat_eric.

ok i tried googling slow cookers and energy usage but it baffled me. Personally I only have mine on if I'm at home (I know if shouldn't catch fire etc but I'm still to scared to leave it on).
I only use it once every couple of months, for certain meals, but I know people who use theirs weekly or twice weekly.
    - my friend show me a lovely chicken breast recipie and I love the fact I can put frozen chicken in in the morning with uncooked sliced potatoes and a packet sauce mix with lots of water and have tea cooked for me with no effort.
    - sausage and bacon casserole - same as above but different frozen meats!

That's my kind of cooking! :D Hopefully Santa will bring us the Argos one. It's reduced to £11.99 (cookworks brand) and has loads of good reviews.

rather randomly he is currently sleeping on the radiator which has a towel over it and the thing he is sleeping on is my OH's trainer bag which he puts his trainers in when he washes them! My cat is so funny. he will sleep anywhere !! the paw he is leaning on is his "sore paw" he will be back at the vets tomorrow to be checked over. I'm hoping all will be well.

Awwww...he's so gorgeous. Hope all goes well at the vets tomorrow.
