ok I GIVE UP on the calender idea. I have gone thro every magazine I own and only successfully fullfilled 5 months. i will keep a look out and hope for some inspiration for 2014.

So instead I shall be setting myself 13 challenges to complete (I don't for one minute kid myself they will all get done but will be interesting to see what I do manage).

1) Mothers Day Bookmark (small free kit)
2) mouseloft cat and christmas tree (tiny - half done)
3) mouseloft - fatal error (tiny - half done)
4) poppy pincushion (quite small - kit)
5) Humphry's Corner - fishing (kit - a handful of stitches done)
6) Dinosaur ABC - 1 and a bit pages of 4 completed.

Although I SHOULD be completing a UFO first I'm going to do DO Homes first as my friend has been giving 2 months notice to move out and is heartbroken as she loves her place so I want to stitch it for her when she moves with the tag lines "a home isn't where you live, it's what you make it." (does that sound ok?) the alternative is "a home isn't a building, it's the people who live there".... which do you think??
right off to print it off and see if I have a big enough bit of Aida......and I guess looking for the threads may be useful too (if not santa may need to buy me an early christmas present).

Ohh I WISH across town stitching would bite the bullet and get someone to make them a decent website.
have ordered my aida/ threads there as they seem to be cheapest but WHAT A FAFF!!!!!!!! I'd normally use their ebay shop but they didn't have the right size aida on there.

So pleased you like it maria.

Yet another early start today. Changing cushion covers to more xmassy looking ones - well they are cream and red and decided we are in desperate need for some new cushion pads as the ones we have are as flat as pancakes. When you see them for about £2 each doesn't seem too bad but when you multiply it by about 8 and they don't seem to last too long :eek:

Oh well less moaning and had better get a move on.
