Probably mentioned this before but my Grandma's cat was called Boycat.

Do you have a pic of your lampshade to share?

Just had the strangest tea because neither of us wanted to venture out in the cold & wasn't hungry enough for take away. We had roast potatoes & stuffing balls with a gravy dip on the side! :rotfl: It was nice...just very odd!

There aren't enough cats called Boycat around...

I didn't know if I should put up lampshade - but as you asked...

Sorry about the hideous ceiling - reskimming that hideous pattern is next on the list of jobs... Should have tidied up a bit before I took the photo too really ;)
  • Tell me its Friday - love the lamp shade, you should.be proud of your self, I would be of i had made it

Stitcher- so glad you are pleased with across town, Louise who owns it is brilliant

Ruth - your tea sounds lovley to me, I couldn't be bothered to cook for myself so had a couple of ham and pickle sandwiches!

Thanks everyone for the comments re makes, all the little ones I got as kits in hobby craft in there 3 for 2 the other day, they are all hanging on the door handles in the hall way at the moment my hall has 10 doors in it, so a lot of handles lol, cant decide if I should leave the not so Xmas ones up all year or put them away after Christmas and get them back out next year.

Decided to go through my charts and mags tonight, and mark of the ones I actually want to do with filing tab things http://www.globalnotes.de/Markers/

That way when I finish one project I won't have to look through loads of pages to find my next project I only have about 20 mags though so it didn't take to long lol

My mum gave me some charts she had finished with, there are quite a few tatty teddy ones which I will never do, to much grey and back stitch for me, I'm not trying to sell them I'm happy to pass them on so if anyone wants them PM me.

    Good evening everyone!

I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who recomended across town stitching to me - I got my threads this week and am very happy with them and the price!:j

Ruth_honey - I'm sorry to hear that your cat has been in the wars. Its never nice to see them unhappy, although excellent to hear he is on the mend now (tuna always helps!). I really liked the Christmas card with the cats on.

Maria and the imps - your tree is going to look fantastic, those decorations are beautiful! I really like the princess place pillow you made, the detail is really nice.

couldsavemore - how is your stitching going? Have you managed to find the time to do anymore?

I am doing the last bits of a 'let it snow' that was in cross stitch crazy at the moment - hopefully won't take too long to finish....

I'm not sure what my first stitch of 2013 will be, I am thinking of doing this one called Innocence (I'm not allowed to post links up yet :() by Heaven and Earth.

I have been trying to just do one at a time, but may start doing some rotations of different projects. Does anyone else do that?

Its going to be exciting to see all the Christmas cards that you all made :)

It's Flat Eric's kitty that has been in the wars. Luckily on the mend now, though. :)
Mine is currently playing fetch with a lolly stick. :rotfl: DH throws it down the hallway & she chases after it and brings it back in her mouth. She's been snoozing most of the day-even had a little sleep in my arms earlier (very rare!) so now she's full of energy to burn off.

The Christmas card with the cats on was me, though.

Is Let It Snow for you, or a gift?

Tidy up what??? You should see my place! Clutter EVERYWHERE! I really like that lampshade. Looks very expensive. Did you add the leaves to a plain shade or make it from scratch?

That is adorable. I wish my cat did that.

Re slow cookers, I think they use very little electricity as it's just a bulb inside that heats what you are cooking.

I am so close to finishing three projects but things keep getting in the way. Like Christmas. And husbands. :D

    Happy Stitching
