Wow that's fantastic - well done you! :T
What else did you do along with WW to keep up your motivation?

I did plenty of walking, allowed myself a treat every Friday evening and went to Debenhams to a personal shopper last week when I hit target. Didn't really lose the weight for vanity (although that has come as the weight lose has continued). My Dr said my blood pressure was WAY too high and that I needed to lose weight or else!!! Phrased like that I decided to do something about it. My PCT offer 12 weeks vouchers to people when their BMI is above 30 so I got 12 weeks free straight away. In order to get the next 12 weeks I had to lose 5% of my body weight and still be above 30 BMI. When I applied for my second set of vouchers I was 30.01 BMI so just snook in. Wanted to lose my weight and not have to pay so made a conserted effort. I spent the money (well some of it) of stitchy things instead. Really spurred me on.

Anyway enough about that. I managed to get some stitching done last night. Really pleased and going to do a bit more now.

Chicky - sorry you had a bad night last night. The silver lining is that your cross stitch is coming along.

TMIF - Ladybird Fairy is lovely. If I had anyone to stitch a fairy for I'm sure this would be on my list.

Wished I seen the Pounland programme it sounds very interesting.

Chicky - 2 thoughts. 1 could you use different shades of green for the leaves as no two leaves are the exact same colour? 2 do you live near a stockist? If so you could take your work with you and match the green up.

As far as red goes I have some red that I could send to you if it helps you out of a tight spot.Let me the shade number and I can see if it's one I have.

thanks Ailsb. i really wanted the same shade so the piece is still just the 3 colours. i think it'll look strange to do one differently.

I'm going to nip to John Lewis tomorrow to try and shade match .....

    the red is DMC 3803.

just gona get all my greens/ reds out there is every possibility i may have close enough matches. nope no green even close. there's a red i could get away with but not perfect.
