Person has done loads of them.

I was thinking maybe sort of an inch or smaller...

Quite like the cross stitch but where would you display them, maybe if I had a dressing room just for me I would put them in there....xx

Thanks guys, Tikaani seems to be fine now running around playing tug-o-war with our other dog :rotfl: Got the blood test results, all clear except for a slightly high red blood cell count, the vet said its nothing to worry about. So we are none the wiser why it happened.

Count me in for the card exchange, sounds like fun :)

Sorry Chicky i dont do the survey sites, i joined them all and then decided i would rather stitch lol

Flat Eric, i meal plan every week on a Friday and do Saturday to Friday (as we shop on a Saturday afternoon or Friday evening) i look what we have and plan meals around that stuff then decide what we fancy and fit them into any empty days, that way i find we dont waste food and also we dont have loads of food taking up space in the tiny kitchen and also our shopping bill has gone down hth

Current project - almost finished will try and upload more of my rug (not x-stitch but my BIG project for the year).
Trying to decided what to do next of all my UFOS and wish list, think Xmas stuff has to take priority.

  • WOW - been missing since about middle of last week and since then you have been very very chatty and I have loads to catch up on (5-6 pages) I think. So here goes ..........

leemina - those big cats are stunning. Definitely well worth the wait. :T What a great f-i-l you have btw :D

mrs. m - hope DS1's toenail has improved. Bet it was quite painful for him.

fos - stitching certainly has helped over the last couple of weeks but I just haven't had the time over the last few days to fit it in and by the time I have found the time it has been soo late at night it just would not have been a good idea. Just for the record, my Pooh Bear pic is hanging in the nursery school of the little one who passed away and that was her favourite place. Apparently nursery staff were in tears when they saw it.

chicky - hope your sewing box and threads arrive soon. It's soo damned annoying. Thanks for the heads up on the Dairy Milk/Popcorn stuff - will have to remember to AVOID AT ALL COSTS. :D

shelly - love the updates and the blue frames look lovely. Look forward to seeing your next project. :D

maria - love table mat and coaster.

caroline - hope hubby is enjoying his new job.

ocemeer - so glad you feel inspired to stitch again. Look forward to seeing your updates.

Ailsb - I would have thought me finishing Sleeping Beauty by 20122012 might have been within the realms of possibility but she has been put to bed for over two weeks now and other projects seem to be taking priority. Oh well there will be other 'special dates' no doubt. Good luck with your 'to do' list. ;)

Part 2 of catch up will follow as I'm sure I've just heard a bleep from the kitchen so our dinner should be ready anytime :j

Well back from our walk. We walked for just under 3 hours and did 7.5 miles. It was hard walking up and down hills but felt good to have done it. don't know if I have mentioned it but I hit my weight watchers target on Friday, I've lost 60lb and dropped from a size 20/22 to a size 12/14. So pleased with myself. Just have to keep it off now.

    Stitchy front now:

Chicky - I used to spend lots of time completing surveys but got so fed up of getting to nearly the end only to be told that I didn't fit the criteria. Might have another go before Christmas to try to get a few Amazon vouchers for presents.

FlatEric - we never planned our food before I started WW but now we plan on a Friday for the food for the week. We check what we have in the freezer and then plan out what we are eating. My Dad comes to us Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Friday to eat and he only eats "English" food, so this excludes anything with rice or pasta. This actually makes it slightly easier because we have standard meals we can eat on these days. I have to say if when we are shopping we see things on offer we might change our plans to emcompass them or buy the offers anyway and then use them when we plan for the following weeks food.

NNM - hope your dog is okay now. It must have been horrible for you. I also hate to think what your vet bill is going to be.

Caroline - I've sent you a PM with my details on. Thanks for offering to co-ordinate this exchange.

definately going to come off laptop now - well after I check the George sale items and also order a new bra from Debenhams whilst they still have 20% - and do some stitching.

  • NMM - glad puppy is feeling better now. Is it something similar to febrile convulsions (when babies get too hot they sometimes fit cause they can't regulate their temperatures).
Main surveys signed at present - Ipsos, toluna, valued opinions, dig connections, online panel, opinion world et al.

not heard of did or online panel - may have to look.
toluna decided to kick me out and not let me back for reasons i am unable to fatham.[/QUOTE]

FIFTY TREATS using foam letters, which I swear my pound shop always had in stock.

Poundland always have them in stock until you need them and then they sell out (i had the same problem last year). as soon as I bought an alternative - from the works they got them back in.
chicky - hope your sewing box and threads arrive soon. It's soo damned annoying. Thanks for the heads up on the Dairy Milk/Popcorn stuff - will have to remember to AVOID AT ALL COSTS. :D

ohhh thanks for the reminder they never got back to me (well after they asked me to confirm my name and address............to which i told them there was no problem with that as the first issue had arrived **rolls eyes**)

have spent the entire day (DS1 decided he didn't want to go to Rugby) with the kids under my feet trying to clean the house.

First they trashed my bedroom while I was packing for our holiday - cue a good old clean up which i need to finish tomorrow.

THEN they got every game they own and tipped them all over the front room floor - cue a quick shove it in a box tidyup and will sort that tomorrow.

In stitchy news - DS1 shoved a stitch unpicker up his nose and wondered why he made it bleed.
I have found a really nice leave motif that is just the right size so using that for my panel border. will post a pic when it's a bit more leaf like.

Am waiting for hubby to switch off lego batman on the PS3 (!!!!!! HOW old is he???!!!!) so we can watch Harry Potter Goblet of Fire (we are having a HP marathon - already watched the first 3 this week).
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

:T The boys and I have decided we are going to wait for a really cold miserable weekend in the winter and have a HP marathon weekend with lots of munchies and cosy blankets :D:D

No stitching today - Downton Abbey is on at 9pm then big fat quiz of the 80's on 4+1 so my intention is to stitch and watch those with my Xmas cupcakes (which I found frames for today in Ikea) :)
