  • I am hoping someone on here has better detective skills than me.

My little one has a wee book which belonged to my niece so is about 13 years old. It was a set of 4, My Car, My Train, My Bus and My Tractor. He adores the car one and knows what item is on each page.

Well it ended up in the washing machine and totally dissolved apart from the foam cover.

I have searched online but all I know is that the text was by Gill Davies.

    Can anyone help me out...xx
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)

Hmmm had a pleasant evening in front of the box last night as OH went down the pub. Only actually watched the apprentice ... as drank my wine a bit too quickly and felt a bit light headed :rotfl: but unfortunately I woke when OH arrived home (about 2am) and I then couldn't get back to sleep and think I last looked at the clock about 3.40am ? :( so feeling tired this morning and somewhat grumpy.

I'm unsure whether to brave the shops when I don't actually need anything and with the weather being poor. It might be more sensible to stay home with my audible book and my cross stitch. Will be having a proper read of Cross Stitcher. Wonder if any stitchy mags will arrive today?

Does anyone know when cross stitch collection is due out?

I had a quick search for you. Can't find the book but she mostly works for Brimax books so you might be able to ask them directly but after 13 years it is likely the book is out of print. You can find her works listed http://www.jacketflap.com/gill-davies/55897 but I can see that particular set on her credits.

    Sorry x.

Have just had a nose on eb@y - lots of gill davies books but not that one that I can see. Would have also suggested the b00k people but nothing on their site either. I would try the publishers?
  • Here's the little pic I did for the fayre. Nothing really exciting but it uses a spare frame.

Did a few stitches on Cottage first thing this morning and now I am trying to pysche myself up go and colour hair. Thought if I did it before we go to Harrogate next week then it would be done already for Christmas.

Have a good weekend everyone whatever you are getting up to.
