  • Managed to get loads done today..

Got all the toys sorted and sold them as a bulk lot on Facebook for £50...The girl is collecting in the morning..

Hubby only works from 2 to 5.30pm tomorrow so he is going to help me tomorrow to get the rest done.

Not really much left to sort, just putting things back where they belong and taking photos for ebay..

Saturday is Christmas shopping day and then I intend to spend Saturday night stitching in my nice clean, organised flat...xx

  • maria - hope you manage to get your cousin's little stitch done in time. Good luck. Hope your toe feels easier now.

sweetcarer - happy thanksgiving to your and your family. Bet your meal was delicious. Enjoy your little break from work.

catwoman - those colours are standing out really well on black. Looking forward to next update.

Stitcher - looking forward to seeing your piccies when you can post them.

littlemonkey - looking forward to seeing your piccies too. Hope you manage to finish your christmas projects in time.

Louise - your Mum's song looks great. Must confess I had a tear in my eye when I was reading it. If I remember correctly chicky did a lovely leafy border on 'If' which looked great - but no doubt whatever you decide will suit it perfectly. Good luck in finding something.

Caroline - well done with your tidy up and on managing to sell some of the toys. Make sure you put your feet up over the weekend for some well deserved stitching.

Stitching update from me - managed a bit more on MP Cottage yesterday - going to just leave a few stitches to complete on 20.12.2012 as I suppose things will be a bit hectic by then. Got washer on already so might stitch for a little bit before its time to tackle Mr. Mr's.

    Take care everyone

Can you tell what it is - a Xmas pressie for my Mum if I get it finished.

    SAM_0893.jpg

Hope to make these into coasters for my Xmas table when my Mum and my in-laws come for dinner. Don't seem to stitch quick enough so not sure if they will be finished.

That is a beautiful idea, and looks lovely Caroline78. I'm sure it will be a present your parents will treasure.

Brednall, thats a lot of progress...I hope you can get it finished in time as it would make a great present!

I have some pink aida and I haven't got any inspiration what to use it for. :o Does anyone have any ideas?

That is a lovely idea actually, I could do that with fancy font in the top left :T

Thanks - the leaves did look good. I'm running short of time so whatever goes round the sides will need to be something quick :o

My mum is going to cry when she sees it, I know she will - that's why it's not for Christmas (don't want to ruin the day):o That song was released when they had first met and my Dad was woring away in Aberdeen. It means so much to her, she has even had two lines from it engraved on his headstone :(

It's definitely Jemima Puddleduck (that's the name right?)

I love the little stitches, they will make great coasters. You will find they only take a few hours each to do. I like the gingerbread man best :D

  • Louise - if you want me to ;) the leaves just yell - you need to turn and tweak but you can manage it. It looks fab. I was singing the song :D

    Hello Girls

Enjoying my wee time off - the previous few days before having time off work were fraught - senior managers breathing down my neck - feel I am doing my best for my resources I have but they don't see it like that I should do more - grrrrrr.

Well thought I would put an update off purple work - think I will have it finished by 12.12.12, so I think I will take a break from it and get on with my wee seasonal colourworks.

Thanksgiving was lovely - spending time with hubby over a very nice meal.

Keep well everyone - the sun is out and I have a wee bit of stitching to do - ahhhhhhhh and no work lol.

    sweetcarer ;)
