caroline you'd be more than welcome o pop into the fly lady thread, that has helped me make order out of chaos most days. te fly ladies are really friendly and their are job lists to help create some kind of system you do as little or much as you can manage of the lists a new room each day and after a while everywhere really does start to look better. but looking at my bathroom this morning you'd never believe me.

Good Afternoon Girls,

Off work on leave for a couple of days. Its thanksgiving in America and we are going to have a wee celebration here. I have a turkey and will be making some pumpkin pie.

Started a new wee project last night for a christmas present - also taking a wee break from purple work.

I am doing the ones down the bottom the mini samplers for the seasons. Think it is great I can use some of my own colours (not stuck to recommendations) and material. Have to change autumn to fall tho - so wee challenge there. I am taking that rhodes stitch is similar to algerian eye - my favourite stitch.

Caroline - start small (I did the bathroom not long ago) and when its done it gives you a sense of achivement instead of trying to do a big room it will just fill you with dread.

Chicky - lovely collection of threads and yes its a nuicence converting threads - think some of the convertor sites don't look right so I try and match myself by eye if I convert.

Stitcher - I believe anyone is welcome to post pictures of their work but you have to have made 10 posts on the forum before it will let you post links or pics. Welcome to the cafe.

The weather has been truly awful here again, lots of work on the farm (weather related) so no stitching:( Hoping the weather improves soon.

It's taken me so long to catch up on all your messages!

I do have some finished pieces/updates to post but I need to dig out the photos, I'll try and do that over the weekend. I'm desperately trying to finish the picture I'm doing for my boyfriend's parents for Christmas, so I can start on my lovely festive picture! Hopefully I can get this finished by the end of November.

I'm very much enjoying seeing other people's update photos though, especially all the pretty christmassy ones!

Yes Stitcher anyone can post photo of work that you have completed / started.I think you have to have a certain number of posts first (someone else will correct me if I am wrong) We love to have a look at what people are working on.
Its a little difficult working on black fabric. Black on Black is the worst. I have two black projects on the go. :eek:

Just a quick update on the picture for my mums' birthday (23rd Dec)- I charted my parents song for her.

I'm still thinking about what to do round the edges
