Louise. Thanks for the advice/info. Yes it makes sense :D I know exactly what you mean. I had an idea you used paper but wasn't sure.
Does one way work better than the other or no noticeable difference?
I'll probably take the fabric off the frame after each stitching session anyway so hopefully the squashing of stitches will be kept to a minimum.

Maria. Love your finishes! You're very crafty!
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

Hmmm just as I think I'm going to stop buying stash, I find cross stitcher waiting for me when I get home and there are (for once) lots of projects I like and want to do.

and I've seen this and can't make up my mind whether it is a good deal or not? I certainly wouldn't pay £50 for it  Even £24 seems expensive!

I hope everyone is surviving the wet weather. Its been crazy and to be honest just a little bit worrying :(

    happy stitchy weekend all :T

Littlemonkey - What's the name of that piece? It's coming along really well. Looks like the sort of piece that can be stitched fairly easily while watching tv lol

    It's this:

I've just got the vase to go really! It is a good one to stitch while watching telly, although I have miscounted and had to unpick a fair few times...:o
  • great makes Maria,

my mojo has popped off :( was all excited about starting christmas stitch then brought down by not having the threads immediatly and my friends not got back to me about the 'stash' threads yet to let me know postage costs or makes. :(:(

Was going to find the threads for christmas calories orthe new Boofle christmas after Santas worked their magic. but I know I'll make it last all night and get fed up.

So I think I will get a cup of tea and go back to dinosaurs :(

Been at home child free all day and managed well naff all If I'm quite honest other then framing those pics (thanks for the comments) and realising I'm missing a load of my Christmas decs/ santa key. I had a huge clear out and I think they may have ended up in the wrong pile.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
