Have just had a 20 minute cat nap with the cat. Actually I feel more tired now than I did before the little snooze!

Food shopping was delivered late this morning so spent the time while I was waiting marking out the material for my little colour swatch project! Have a rough idea as to size etc now.

Bored of tidying up so not sure whether to stitch a couple of squares or finish tigger?

Hugs to everyone who needs them at the moment :grouphug:

Lost my stitching mojo with blackwork angel, so have put her to the side for now and will do some smaller projects before picking her up again.

Meant to send this earlier but the computer is playing up - will only work in safe mode.

Anyway was in A$da and seen this

It was £3. Was tempted but we are saving money so didn't buy but it made me think of all our dreamie chat. My Sam likes the wiskas ones - she even knows their box - I was carrying it one day and she was mewing all about me wanting one but she has to earn one.

    Hope everyone is well

    sweetcarer ;)

My friend's son told me about these. Was tempted, but it costs 3 times the price of a bag of Dreamies, so not really MSE.

I watched it! Love Ant & Dec. :D

Started my ABC christmas sampler yesterday. Really enjoyed having some proper stitching time. I'm working on A for Angel & it's quite a large section of the chart. It's taking shape, though. I'll try and post a pic tomorrow.

Hi all sorry I didn't report back on the show on Thursday. Didn't back back until nearly 7 then out straight away to Cubs and not back until gone 9pm. Friday I woke with a migraine so that knocked that day out. Yesterday I was really busy during the day and marshalling a scout event during the evening.

I managed to sit down at 10.30 last night and to start my 10.11.12 - 11.12.13 project only to find the aida supplied isn't big enough to allow for fraiming once the design has been stitched. Really annoyed and upset :mad: as I was looking forward to stitching it. Anyway I've emailed Design Works asking them what they can do to help and hopefully they might supply a larger piece of aida. If they don't then I will need to go and buy some - might get evenweave if I have to, will wait for a reply first but this does mean my start date is delayed but I'm going to cheat and say I started yesterday as I did try.

Anyway the show update - it was busy - VERY busy.

I did a few "make and take" sessions - I made a gem stone bracelet, a reindeer using jumping clay, some beads using fimo and an embroidered paper card. I didn't manage to get anything for my MIL but I did buy a chunky cross stitch cushion kit with a brown tree frog on for my son - it was £9.99 instead of £19.99 from HC. I got a Russian designed kit of a panthers open mouth and eyes on black fabric (I will post a picture at some stage but can't at the moment). Also got a grab bag of "bits" including a cross sticth kit, some zips and other oddments from Abakhan for £4.99, saw the same kit elsewhere in the show for £9.99 on its own.

I also subscribed to Cross Stitcher 3 issues for £1 plus this months issue and an organiser free. Thought it was too good an offer to pass on.

On a non cross-stitch front a brought a kit to make 3 dragons out of fimo. Also got 2 balls of wool for scarfs again less than half of shop price.

In a nutshell I had a great day out.

BEG - love you Santa your hubby has framed it really well, you are very lucky.

Pennib - your box is lovely, I don;t blame you for keeping it for your bits and pieces.

I watched I'm a Celebrity. Can you believ it my son has been set this, watching I'm a Celebrity for his Geography homework. I didn't get set homework like this in my day. How old do I sound :rotfl:

Oh :( its monday already :(

I didn't watch I'm a celebrity last night. I used to but I find it being on every night hard work to keep up with. The adverts bug me too and there are only so many times you can watch someone eat nasty things!!

Anyhow, my colour swatch is well under way :j
Just 2 squares stitched , a mere 463 to go.... :rotfl:

Think the best thing will be to stitch the numbers where I don't have the thread as don't want to get myself confused!

Have a good day all :j
