Back from the shops well A$da actually as decided to have a treat and have their pizzas tonight for tea. Bought some £6 trousers for work :T and *another* black cardigan!
Rarely shop at this store as its a bit far away (two buses) but timings worked out well coming home. I was amused when browsing the clothing aisles to see two kids hiding amonst the bath mats and shouting "boo" as customers walked past!
Anyhow - keen to finish my book then think I might dig the cross stitch out :T0 -
Had a very productive day today football training this morning which I don't enjoy but the sun was shining so it wasnt to bad. Then came home and have made 2 cushions, a little card holder. Sewed dd rainbow badges onto her uniform, framed 2 piccies and made up the coaster and table mat just to make sure I liked them before I make any more so now its housework bath then cross stitch time!13 in 2013 challenge 9/130

Opinions needed please. Don't worry - my craft fair is next week so this should be the last time I mention it!!!
Despite my best efforts and those of a lovely lady on here (who shall remain anonymous unless she wants to reveal herself but to whom I shall be eternally grateful) I have made several 'initial letter' keyrings but not been able to complete the full alphabet. DO you think it is a good idea to offer to take orders for those missing or to be done in an alternative colour then posted out (at a price of course) or just try and sell what is made up??
Regards

If you have time, I would take orders of specific initial & colours.0

Just come accross these crosss-stitch icecreams - there's a whole series 1 for each month.
Not really sure what to make of them.
I don't think I like them.................
I love the idea of a group challenge to finish stitching a Christmas piece on 12 12 12. Not sure we would get agreement on a single design but if everyone could choose their own design it would be lovely to see progress. And if anyone other than me has any Christmas themed UFOs then this could be just the incentive for us to finish this year............... goes off to look through UFO stash.......0 -

If you are happy to commit to stitching to order then it will probably be a popular option. And even though you won't be charging a lot I would ask for a deposit for every order. But if you are sick of stitching intials and can't wait to get back to your own stitching then just sell what you have made.0 -

We were going to go for 09.09.09 but in the end we went for 27th May that year instead as it was the anniversary of us getting together.DO you think it is a good idea to offer to take orders for those missing or to be done in an alternative colour then posted out (at a price of course) or just try and sell what is made up??
I would say perhaps go with the intention of just selling what you have but be open to the idea of people perhaps ordering some more (ie. have a notebook and pen handy) in case people do enquire.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Chicky - I like the idea of doing a Christmas design to finish 12.12.12. I've never done one but would anyone be interested in (apologies that I don't know the correct term) but one of the stitch things where you swap your finished piece with someone else at the end? Not sure how people feel about this as it does add additional pressure to the stitching.
Brednall - I don't know if this has been mentioned but have you taken photos of your items in case you sell them and someone asks about something, you can at least have an album of work. That way you can sell as you go and take orders if you feel like it.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j
