Oh I love your MP. Free MP chart?! It so cute!! Ive got his XmAs Door ready-ish to stitch.... Ive been reading back (looking for your Dr who), and read about the 12.12.12 or 20.12.2012 challenges and would like to do it but know i wouldnt have the time. But I could perhaps manage a small one, or something by Lizzie late. Ooh, decisions!
Darn I missed that chart thoughwith wedding expenses, 2 instance excesses & 2 boilers bought this year I cancelled CrossStitcher Sub and do not look at the rest - its actually quite liberating! :rotfl: If anyone is ripping up their mag to sell / store please consider me
I won't stitch it again so you can have my MP chart if you want - pm me

So I'm cold, tired and grumpy. Been out most of the evening at Fat Club and just want my bed...
so I can't fathom something - brain refuses to work and would be grateful for help.
Which of the 2 is the best deal:
Contract Aida 14 Xmas.Green 50x50
14 count Christmas green Aida Pre-cut in 50x50cm squares (19.4x19.4 inches) Price: £3.22 (Including VAT at 20%)
or
Contract Aida 14 Christmas Green
14 count Christmas Green Aida. This fabric is 150cm wide (59 inches), sold here by the metre full width or buy a square below. Price: £19.26 (Including VAT at 20%)
My initial reaction is the 50x50 cm at £3.22 per 50 x 50 cm square but I'm not sure...

It's actually about the same per meter - but if you only need a little bit, get the square
(Multiply the £3.22 by 6 to get a piece the same size as the 150x100cm to compare the price)

sk00bie - angel looks lovely. Looking forward to seeing a pic of her made up.
Louise - great progress on 12 days. I'm allowing myself twelve months to do my MS 12 days:D Thanks for reminding me that I will need the 75% to go with 25% voucher when I go to HC today. I do need 4 skiens to go with MP Cottage threads so I might get those - just so that I feel as though I'm buying something. I think they were 70p each last time I was there - so by the time I take the 25% off its not too bad and I get to bring them home with me
.
23rd - I'm doing the MP Cottage as my 20/12/2012 project. His quirky designs really appeal to me.
bossymoo - would love a pic when you get your little cushion completed. :rotfl:
Update on Lizzie Kate (10.11.12 project) - added some sequinny thingies last night as I don't have the charm kit and 'adjusted' the colour in the writing as I miscalculated the amount of thread it would take. It wasn't my fault though - I'll blame :money: as I was trying to be frugal with my leftover bits. Think the adjustment works (fingers crossed).
Next project to start will be Boofle (12.12.12). Threads are sorted just need to do the fabric now.
Don't think there will be any stitching done here today as DH and I are going on a little shopping trip (calling at HC on the way home).
Take care everyone. Will catch up on all the chat when I get back tonight.

Good Morning Girls
Hope you are all well.
I have been doing alot of stiching in my leave so far. I have finished my christmas exchange - just have to put in card - tho the card I have is a wee bit small so will have to cut it a bit. Also, managed to get a big chunk done on my 12.12.12- purplework. Will post pictures later of purplework and can't reveal christmas.
Off out to Edinburgh later - will get the train in - we will be there all day and most of night as we are going to see the Samhain parade at 9pm up at the castle.
Thought we deserved a wee day out.
Keep well girls, watch out for the guisers.

Hi ladies.
Welcome to the newbies, flowerp & bossymoo.
Skoobie. Very nice Snow Angel!
Laura. Hope Harolds teeth removal goes ok. I remember when Coco had a few out, she came home and walked about like a drunk thing, bless herI mashed her meat for her for a few days but when I stopped and gave her normal meat chunks she looked at me like I had served her up a bowl of something you would scrape off your shoe :rotfl:
Louise. 12 Days is coming along great!
Sweetcarer. Wrap up warm and I hope you have a nice day out. Look forward to your purplework update.
Talking of wedding dresses and shoes. I too put my trainers on for the reception. My shoes were only size 1 and half and were nipping something terrible so trainers went on for the evening. Was quite funny seeing the trainers hanging by their laces off the indicator stalk of the wedding car(only place we could think of putting them so they wouldn't be forgotten)
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
morning all
sounds like you are all busy
hugs to the poorlies and out of sorts
hope you are sorted with you cushion now bossy, would also love to see a photo when its done.
did more gold blackwork last night, im about halfway across the hem band now, i thought it looked hideously hard but once you get the first couple of rows in its just a repeating pattern so quite straightforward, however mine does not look the same on the back as the front so wont be posting a photo of the back.
have a good day allSPC~12 ot 124
