Hi everyone Thanks for making me feel so welcome.

elliep - it is the waiting that is dreadful. You're imagination runs riot. Like you said if you have a diagnosis you can deal with it. While your waiting there's nothing you can do. Fingers crossed for you xx
chickywiggle - parents evening story made me giggle. xx
blue_eyed_girl - it's the Christmas cards in the small supplement that caught my eye. They use the metallic threads that come with the magazine. I'll keep you posted on the finished products xx

I have not managed any stitching yet. I have had a busy day, then out this evening visiting 6th form with DS.

Hoping for some stitching tomorrw evening

The scan clinic called me today while I was at work so now I have to wait until the morning to call them back and see what they were calling about. I hope they've decided that my scan is more urgent, whilst that could be a bad thing at least it would reduce the wait.

Maria - those table mats and coasters look great! Well done, I don't think I could stitch the same design over and over like that.

Morning(!) all...just had a quick catch up...
PAP - the end results will be wow I love it! Hope the finished result is going to take pride of place somewhere!
Mrsmoneypenny - well done on the wins, they should keep you busy, many hours of stitching for free is very mse!
Catwoman - liking the scarlet wizard, very challenging project for you!
Maria and the imps the table looks amazing, everyone will need to be very careful eating their dinner! Must be so good to stitch something other than a picture... something else to put on my wish list lol...
elliep - will be thinking of you until you can call them in the morning, I can't imagine what the waiting must feel like.

Well I've had a few days with tatty teddy for my love quilts contribution. This morning I got up and felt terribly nauseous and had a bad head, and a quick morning nap turned into an all day thing... oops!
The bad thing is it means I'm awake now...

Here's my WIP, the original design has purple hearts round the edge but the quilt theme is yellow stars so I have adapted the design. Some stars still left to do, and that dreaded backstitch!!

Not had chance to catch up properly with posts and  this morning - the buses I catch are on strike meaning I have to make other arrangements.

This has meant getting up earlier than usual :( and fun and games as I navigate my way to the office today. already have a bus pass so  I will be paying again. It will be even more fun this evening as unless I get my timings spot on, I will have a 30 minute walk :(

Oh well at least its Friday :T Have Mr T coming tonight freeing up the weekend for stitching/sleeping/hoping I can close my eyes tight, open them again and hey presto all my housework is done :D

Ellie P - hope you get an earlier appointment. I had to be referred to the breast clinic at my local hospital a few years back and the government had a system in place that once referred by the doc, I was seen within 2 weeks. I would be inclined to go back to the doc with a pair of handcuffs and refuse to leave until you get a much earlier date. Its horrible the wait and I had to wait for my results as well which look at least a week or more so it wasn't a very nice time. Hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Grr - she was calling to tell me my appointment had been double booked and she tried to book me in 3 days later!! I've managed to make it later in the day on the same day but that's going to make the 6 hour starvation harder to do! (It was 1st thing in the morning, which would have been easy to starve for.) Oh well, I'll just have to distract myself for the waiting time and do lots of stitching.

    Hi ladies.

Maria. Table looks lovely, you must be so pleased!

Jarus. Welcome! (Not sure if I said it already or not :o)

Littlestar. Loving the Tatty Teddy, very nice.

Ellie. Sorry to read your appointment has been pushed back, even a few hours later is really annoying.

    As for me.
I finally got some stitching done yesterday, not much but every stitch helps :D

Off topic. Hubby was cunning yesterday and sent me a pic of a cat his boss is wanting to re-home. I have been saying no for a couple of weeks but now I have seen her pic we are going to meet her (translate as going to pick her up and bring her home)
She looks very much like our current cat Lily.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:
