Morning all
Flat Eric - chances are it will be some sort of sandwich for lunch but there again we haven't got much bread in so I might have some porridge and leave bread for others. Re missing posts - for me it was late and I probably just caught wrong button/.
Sweetcarer - great to hear from riuth_honey. Hope it wont be too long before she is back in the Cafe.
No rain here yet but it is forecast apparently.
Take care everyone

I think I might have to have a stitchy day today. I'm supposed to be revising and trying to get a placement to complete my professional return to practice updating, but next door's builders are playing the radio loud and hammering. To be fair they have turned it down since the neighbour on the other side of them asked them too but I can still hear it quite clearly
I've got to choose what to work on though, I could carry on with my Lizzie Kate alphabet, but I really fancy doing something bright and Christmassy. I do have a chart for a little tubby Santa if I've got all the right threads... or maybe one of the cute monkeys from last month's 'cross stitch crazy'...0 -

Please note I do NOT intend to become a member of the SABLE club - (well not atm that is)as lovely as you lot are. I probably have around half dozen kits to do and numerous charts to do sometime/whenever. Might make a list of the stuff in the new year and it may give me a bit of encouragement.
Got a fair bit of exchange card done tonight. :j
Well I'm tired now so its off to bed for me now.

I wasn't planning to be a member either, it just happened!
I'll post my to do list later on... I need a reminder of how out of control it's getting :rotfl:
I don't have that many kits to do but so so many charts I want to do, either bought or from magazines.Wow ! Cross Stitch Collection somehow ended up in my paws when I popped in $miths yesterday evening. Just glanced at the "next month" pages and wow ! oh my ! the Noel Cushion is amazing! I also like the look of the festive teddies :j
Awww don't post stuff like this, it just makes me think; 'I WANT TO SEEEEE!' and I can't as I'm at work :rotfl:
Hope everyone has a good day. Its raining here. Would be nice to phone into work and say I am having a duvet day but even if I did, I know that I wouldn't enjoy it as I would know I would be meant to be in work (if that makes sense)
and off topic question but looking for lunch inspiration so please share what you are having for lunch today !
oh and one more thing....
I have noticed that a few of you mention that you lose posts. I don't seem to have any problem at home (I use Linnux/firefox) but often in work (using windows/internet explorer), I always copy my post first before clicking submit reply as it inevitably comes up with a message saying "security token missing" and my post vanishes. I don't know why this is.
I'm have a tesco moroccan chicken salad for lunch, if that helps
I always try to remember to copy my posts before I submit incase I've been on long enough to get signed out of MSE and lose it. Inevitably I only ever forget on the long posts where I actually am signed out... /sighsweetcarer wrote: »Hello Girls
On for a wee quickie before work.
Message for everyone from Ruth_Honey - she is good - in hospital still with a wee bit of pain but missing all the chatter in here. I will text her later to see how she is today.
Lunch - have the same nearly everyday - wholemeal bread, tomato and ham with a yogurt for afterwards. Boring - considering the boys at work are more adventurus - pot noodles (varying brands), home made pasta dishes, curries, etc. Some even bring in their takeaway left overs - pizza, pakora. One of them brings in home made soup as he is on a diet.
Well keep well everyone, see ya later alligator.
sweetcarer
Oh that's great that Ruth_honey is doing OK, am so pleased for her
Your lunch sounds like mine on normal days, I have wholemeal bread with ham and light mayo. I don't get bored of it though, am just having the salad cause it needs using up
Work is much calmer today, I'm trying, and failing to not browse cross stitch sites while twiddling my thumbs :ACross Stitch Cafe Challenger No. 26 :hello:XStitch to do list:-- Birth Sampler -- Christmas Angel -- Mum's Xmas Stitch -- Christmas decs 3 & 4 -- Xmas Bird ---- Snowflake Sonata -- Be Jolly -- JE Unicorn -- Start HAED!!! --0 -

elliep - hope you manage some stitching today.
Re the SABLE club - I am starting to have to find extra 'storage' space for bits and bobs - could this be the start of things
Popped into £land this morning and checked out the frames - as you doand they had some pictures with silver and black frames and they measured approx 8" square. So I bought one of each and thought I could use one of these for one of my xmas projects with a red mount (DH has kindly offered his cutting services) and in doing so will have saved some £s which can be spent on getting threads for 2012-2013 project :j
Whoops - nearly commented on the exchange card - just because its something which I'm dreading. Might try and get a little bit done before lunch.
