Not sure why this is happening but it's showing again this morning for me.I'm back on my own laptop using explorer, last night when it wasn't showing I was using hubbys laptop which opens Moxilla Firefox. Maybe it has something to do with which you are signed on via.

Talk about roll reversal my son has just come into my bedroom and said "up up" :D He's right must get up washed and dressed, him to school (he has tiba today so needs a lift) and then me to work. Only half a day today then off until Tuesday - YAY :T:T:T

    Ailsb - I can't see yours tho.

So I am seeing some and not others.

Computer still not playing right - earlier it said I had no anti virus. To get internet to load I have to restart it 3-4 times. Now anti virus and internet working like nothing happened. Grrrrrrrrrrr

Off to do more on purple work - taking turns between it and my xmas card.

Nice to see you Soulie and CraftyGranny - missed you here but I do see you on FB.

Keep well everyone and warm - its cold again

BD update, this is where i left it to do my card for the exchange, yup you've guessed it more blue :rotfl:

    beautiful_dreamer_update_071012.jpg

Louise that is some collection to get done, my stash consists of left over thread from my 2 kits and a massive piece of 20 count aida for Atlantis, which i may change to evenweave if i like it.

For anyone that remembers my swollen finger i still have it and have been muddling through. I finally had my hospital app at Rhumatology today, only to be told he thinks its tendonitis so atleast its not arthiritis :j He is sending me for an ultrasound to confirm then go from there, been reading that vitamin E is good for tendonitis so i'm going to try that, i much prefer natural remedies to steroid injections and possibly surgery

b_e_g - I have added your dates to my list on page 1. I intend to put the date on the front of mine so it can be seen clearly but it's very much personal preference.

    Thanks Louise. :)

Have made a little start on xmas card exchange. Are we keeping everything 'secret' until the reveal - ie not update pics.

Just popped on to ask if anyone was going to the knitting and stitching show at Alexandra Palace at the weekend? I'd like to, but got no one to go with :(

blue_eyed_girl - as far as I know we don't show our card exchange stitches until the big reveal after everyone has received theirs. We are planning to post on the 3rd December I think and reveal around the 15th I think.

nmm - great progress :) I can see fur!

I did something VERY silly today :o I decided to put all my UFO's and my 'to do' stitching into one box so it isn't in various locations around the house. Now I have seen it all together it's made me realise just how long I'm going to need to live (and bearing in mind I will definitely be adding to the pile as well) :o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Lousie - that'll be done in a year :rotfl:

ARRRGGG stupid laptop - i was tying to open the ones to quote in new tabs but stupid thing copied these 2 3 times and not the others now i can't remember what i was going to say **sulks**

WHSmith is SOOOOOO going under. Toys are always at RRP or higher. Stationary is a silly price. Books can be bought SOO much cheaper online. They (well mine at least - 3 floors) no-longer sell cd's and only have chart or a handful of kids DVD's.
The only thing they have going for them is that they sell magazines.
They stopped their clubcard. Their privalidge card ran for 2 (?) years and is now ended with nothing to replace it.
They are concentrating on their e-book kobo and funky pigeon connections.....
birthday cards etc..............I actually believe are now cheaper in clinton cards and DEFO cheaper in card factory etc
.....................................................administraion is written all over their windows. (apologies if anyone works for them)
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Another SABLEr here! I got rid of most of my stitching stuff (Ruth_Honey got some of it :p), but I seem to have rapidly replaced it with yarn! (luckily as I can no longer afford to buy any more, or clothes, or get my hair done, or go out and meet people, or ......)
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup :D

    nmm - lovely update.

chicky - can't remember the last time I visited WHS. Always found it too depressing and so expensive.

Please note I do NOT intend to become a member of the SABLE club - (well not atm that is) :p as lovely as you lot are. I probably have around half dozen kits to do and numerous charts to do sometime/whenever. Might make a list of the stuff in the new year and it may give me a bit of encouragement.

Got a fair bit of exchange card done tonight. :j

Well I'm tired now so its off to bed for me now.

Did start a small project last night that was featured in Quick and Easy Cross Stitch many moons ago so got my fix of cross stitching for the first time in almost a week.

Hopefully will be able to stitch stitch stitch at the weekend :j

Wow ! Cross Stitch Collection somehow ended up in my paws when I popped in $miths yesterday evening. Just glanced at the "next month" pages and wow ! oh my ! the Noel Cushion is amazing! I also like the look of the festive teddies :j
Hope everyone has a good day. Its raining here. Would be nice to phone into work and say I am having a duvet day but even if I did, I know that I wouldn't enjoy it as I would know I would be meant to be in work (if that makes sense)
and off topic question but looking for lunch inspiration so please share what you are having for lunch today !

    oh and one more thing....

I have noticed that a few of you mention that you lose posts. I don't seem to have any problem at home (I use Linnux/firefox) but often in work (using windows/internet explorer), I always copy my post first before clicking submit reply as it inevitably comes up with a message saying "security token missing" and my post vanishes. I don't know why this is.

    Hello Girls

On for a wee quickie before work.

Message for everyone from Ruth_Honey - she is good - in hospital still with a wee bit of pain but missing all the chatter in here. I will text her later to see how she is today.

Lunch - have the same nearly everyday - wholemeal bread, tomato and ham with a yogurt for afterwards. Boring - considering the boys at work are more adventurus - pot noodles (varying brands), home made pasta dishes, curries, etc. Some even bring in their takeaway left overs - pizza, pakora. One of them brings in home made soup as he is on a diet.

Well keep well everyone, see ya later alligator.
